Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in North Holland

Wilhemina is an absolutely wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. From the moment I booked, she provided detailed information and checked in about our arrival time. The room was beautifully prepared with thoughtful touches like local tourist brochures for Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Despite inaccessible kitchen, she generously provided complimentary breakfast each morning, and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The location is truly special for nature lovers - peaceful and surrounded by greenery where you can truly unwind. However, future guests should be aware of a few practical considerations: there are stairs to navigate with luggage (pack light if possible), and the property is about 30km from Amsterdam city center. While accessible by public transport (metro + bus or two buses), the journey takes time, and evening/night bus frequency reduces to 30-60 minute intervals. This is a perfect retreat for travelers who prioritize tranquility.

Elly and Simon's place was perfect for our 4 night stay. So nice to have a private little outside sitting area looking over the fields. Having the bikes was marvelous, we cycled to the beach through the forest (get Elly to give you directions) and stopped in the local towns for cafes, a fabulous lady day of the Keukenhof season, just a few minutes away by bike. We cycled along the peaceful, safe canal path to the Hillegom station to go to Haarlem for the day (and the train goes on to Amsterdam from there too). The bed was comfy, the shower was warm and clean and the wifi and TV worked fine. We used the aircon as is did get warm up in the loft bedspace but that was fine too, very quiet. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. All in all it was a very well equipped and well located space with lovely hosts.

It is a special place that is run with a lot of love, in the middle of nature where Fuchs and Has' say good night. We slept in the lower room. The breakfast in Saskia's kitchen /living room was prepared with a lot of love,even freshly squeezed orange juice ❤️The rooms are exceptional and special. We had our bikes with us and discovered many beautiful spots on earth in the area (Hoorn❤️) Thanks for the nice break. 💐💫Best regards, Sabine and Hartmut

We felt very comfortable. Rainaldo is a very nice host, was available at any time and was able to help us in minutes. Very nice, quiet and clean apartment overlooking the North Sea. This certainly wasn't our last stay there:)

This was such a hidden gem in Amsterdam. It was perfect for our stay. Easy access to public transit and super easy to walk to the city centre. Great little restaurants, bars, and shops in the area. Would stay here again for my next trip to Amsterdam!! Cannot recommend it enough.

It was a wonderful stay with Vidi, I'd love to come back. Alkmaar, the great city, its cafes and restaurants invited you to linger and the nearby surroundings to the North Sea, as well as the associated bike tour through the dunes of Bergen, Schoorl and Groet were unforgettably beautiful and are fond memories for me. The property was very spacious for our extended family of 8. Very clean and well kept. Extremely close to trains, buses and metro. Highly recommended

Malo and Maarten were excellent hosts who met us on arrival and showed us around their very well-appointed and well-stocked home. Their place has everything you could possibly need or even think about needing such that we didn't even need to contact them for anything during our stay. The personal touches made it even better. We felt right at home in their beautifully designed home and were able to access the entire city easily from this location. We definitely recommend Blueprint B&B 100%!

Our stay with Isabel was wonderful. Her place is charming and vibrant. The gardens and pool are gorgeous. Breakfast in the garden was amazing - delicious and fresh and in a perfect setting. Isabel was friendly and warm and responsive, while still giving us our privacy. The house was a great home base for our exploration of beautiful Texel.

The apartment is located in a calm surrounding and about 25 min from the city centers by several bus and tram connections. Bathrooms, living room and kitchen are shared with the host, Riza. There was breakfast each morning and Riza was always reachable to take questions on the flat and on what to do in Amsterdam. Of note, the sleeping situation was as described (double bed+ mattress for three guests) - personally, I would not recommend to book with a bigger group.

We had an amazing stay at Miko’s place! Every morning we were suprised with new breakfasy basket, which we loved. Miko is a great host and we would only reccomend staying at this amazing place, just in front of forest and easy access to the beach. We will be back!

Nanda and Peter do a wonderful job of hosting. Peter started us off with a great breakfast at a gorgeously laid table each morning. They travel often, so we received lots of good recommendations from Peter about our other destinations as well as some local ones. He’s a font of knowledge about many things so definitely try to make time for chatting. After he adjusted the bikes to fit us, we thoroughly enjoyed biking to Zaanfort and Haarlem. We had an early flight so Peter offered to be our “Uber” as well! The rooms were lovely, beds were very comfortable.

Staying at Ineke and John’s place was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed so warmly—it truly felt like coming home. The atmosphere was cozy, comfortable, and full of heart. Each morning, Ineke prepared a delicious breakfast that was such a lovely way to start the day. Their kindness and hospitality made my stay memorable. I would totally recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place. Thank you, Ineke and John!

Tim is a very enthusiastic host, who quickly makes you feel at home. He tells beautiful stories about his villa and his life. He has a beautiful house, a characteristic villa (National Monument). You arrive on a driveway with a beautiful monumental tree. The decor matches the character of the house. The bed was soft and comfortable.

I had a lovely stay here! The location is good - the windmill is just across the river, and there is boat you can take to get there. It's also very close to the bus stop. The garden is absolutely beautiful, sitting by lake watching the sunset was the most relaxing thing. Also love the breakfast very much.

Great place to stay, Nice experience such an outdoor shower. Neatly cared for and a delicious breakfast. Within walking distance of downtown and plenty to do in Schoorl.

The studio was really nice and cozy and the location was very pleasant. By using the bikes it was very convenient to go into the city center of Amsterdam. I can recommend the studio and would always book it again.

Nick was friendly and helpful. Met Cherry only briefly since she had traveled and returned only toward the end of my stay. Clean room and comfortable bed. I slept well. The room had everything I needed. Location was perfect for my needs.
