The space offers two bedrooms with a queen bed in each, a third room with a double bed that can be used as a bedroom or common room, and a full bathroom with an antique claw foot tub and shower. There's no access to the downstairs. You can also relax on the front porch or back deck overlooking 9 wooded acres.

Please note: a positive host review needed to book. Has queen bed, full bath, internet, TV w/ Roku stick, kitchen nook with a sink, hotplate, microwave and small frig (no full stove or grill). Ceiling fans throughout, and quiet mini-split for heat & A/C . A wood stove is available for $35 fee for wood, etc (notify host before).

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

The Nest, Charming Country Setting south of Athens

This guest suite is located above the detached three car garage across from the main house. Beautiful views of the countryside, including horses and chickens! Sanford Stadium and beautiful downtown Athens are just 14 miles north of us (a 22 minute drive). Historic Madison is 19 miles to the south of us. You are welcome to fish or kayak on our pond as well. Come stay with us! We do have a no-pet policy and a no-smoking policy. Thank you for respecting our space.

Jessica was a lovely host and provided a beautiful place! She has truly raised my standards for an AirBnB. My husband and I only stayed one night and our stay was great. Wes communicated well to make sure we were comfortable. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The self check in was easy. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also roomy. We noticed the attention to small details like extra toiletries, lightening cord next to the bed, sound machine, k-cup assortment with coffee mugs and bottled water just to mention a few. We highly recommend their place.

10/10!! My girlfriend and I made an extremely last minute booking with Dylan just the night before our stay and he was a huge help. Even answering questions about the distance to our concert prior to us booking the stay. As far as the apartment itself goes, everything was very clean and orderly. Perfect for a couple in town for a game or concert as I mentioned we were. Located in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood, I would recommend this stay to anyone.
