Guest room in a private home

My home is located in a small town on a dirt road and very private. The rt 1 coast/ocean is about 25 minutes away and offers lighthouses, lobster and Maine hospitality. This guest room has a full size bed that is stacked with pillows and an antique quilt, dresser and closet space. The bathroom boasts of a shower as well as a claw foot bathtub should you wish to lay back and relax. There is a television, and an air conditioner in the warmer months as well as a ceiling fan as an alternative.

Bar Harbor Lobster Pound, Mainely Meat BBQ, Utter Heaven Ice Cream & also Mini Golf is within walking distance. The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd and downtown Bar Harbor are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the shops, restaurants & excursions of Bar Harbor or from late June to mid Oct, catch the free Island Explorer shuttle from the end of our road.

Three Pines B&B overlooks Sullivan Harbor. The 40 acre waterfront, timberframed, solar homestead offers two guest rooms (booked individually), each with a private entrance, private bath, and spectacular water views. With over 800 ft. of shorefront, 3000 ft. of old railroad bed, and 40 acres of woodland, you'll never have to leave the property to enjoy the natural beauty of the Maine coast. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We offers 4 apartments to rent by the night, or week in the summer (Breakfast for additional fee). Long term September-May for the traveling professional (no breakfast). Each unit has 1-2 bedrooms, full kitchen and private bathroom. All situated on the norther head of Messalonskee Lake. Rustic Cabin on Maine Farm

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful farm. The cabin has a great connection to nature. It is a quiet, cozy and romantic place. The cabin has a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom and a double bed in the loft. The couch also folds-out to double bed in the sitting room. When reserving the cabin, please register all people over 2 years old. The cabin does not have any heat, but we provide loads of comfy blankets and warm tea to make sure you are comfortable.

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub. This is room 2 on our 2nd floor. It has a private bath and the ceiling of the bathroom was once a trolley car’s ceiling. The stained glass windows give the room a rosy Medieval glow. With two comfortable chairs and a fireplace, this room has it all. We are a B&B so breakfast is included with your stay. Please see our website for the menu. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor.

Enjoy a tranquil getaway in this peaceful coastal apartment with private entrance. The updated apartment is attached to a historical (1881) inn. The property offers access to lush gardens surrounded by forest as well a short footpath to the top of the rocky shore. Enjoy your own private porch or gaze out to the ocean views from a shared veranda. A gourmet breakfast with organic/seasonal/local ingredients is available for an additional fee.
