It was as if we were arriving at a small oasis in the middle of our agitated world. The house was even more beautiful than described and we were struck by the cleanliness of the place. In principle, it is not even necessary to leave the estate, as everything is planned to keep you entertained. The neighborhood and Ardre around the lake were also very idyllic to visit (everything is within walking distance). Véronique is a fantastic host, involved in your vacation weeks ahead. She had decorated the house with birthday garlands for our 60s, and prepared a fresh quiche as well as cookies. In short, I would recommend this place to anyone.

It is truly a beautiful house with everything you need. It felt more like a hotel than a gîte, so luxurious and equipped with everything. The house is clean, spacious and super luxuriously equipped. Really nice stay, especially for those doing a night before/after a crossing to the Uk. The garden along the stream is beautiful, our dog was in heaven. The house is clean & well kept. The kitchen is a little low on essentials but perfectly good for a night or two!

House 2 steps from Lake Ardres

The last leg of our drive back to the UK from Morocco with our old chocolate lab and it was PERFECT. Gorgeous, well loved little house with a beautiful garden and some really kind, thoughtful touches. We arrived far too early and they were so accommodating, letting us check in early and even stayed to greet us! Only 25 mins drive to Le Shuttle the next morning and a supermarket literally 4 mins drive away. Great place to stay with everything you need, hosted by really lovely people.
