The mouth of the cove is shallower than the cove (the cove fills through aquifers) and does not allow boats to come in and out of the cove as of May, 21. 3-bedroom 2-bath lake front home built in 2018. Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.
