Summer cottage/cabin at Grundsjön

Free Wi-Fi, hot tub, 3 meters from the water, quiet and beautiful, close to nature, dishwasher, washing machine, terrace, private parking, shower and toilet, fireplace, underfloor heating and everything is newly renovated in 2020. Bed linens and towels should be brought by yourself. Cleaning must be done before checking out and must be done thoroughly, for example, vacuuming, drying the floors, dusting the bathroom and kitchen. So you leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. Rowing boat is included with the cabin. You need to clean the house before you check out.

FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Stay in a cozy tent tent surrounded by forests and Lake Fryken. Inside, there is a double bed and a sofa. Outside the tent, there is a wood stove where you can cook under the open sky as well as a simple dining area. You also have your own access to a log cabin located right next door, with hotplates, a refrigerator, a dining area, and coffee. An outdoor toilet is a short walk into the forest. Parking is about 150 meters from the place with a hill down. Only 15 minutes from Sunne city center is this strawberry place.

Welcome to our cozy cabin! Nestled by the edge of a peaceful pool, you'll find a hot tub that comfortably accommodates up to five people, offering a stunning panoramic view of the lake. The jacuzzi and sauna is available year-round. The swimming pool is open from May until 6th of October, perfect for cooling off during warmer months. We also provide two paddleboards. Nature is just outside your door and in the evening you will watch the sun set over the lake. We look forward to welcoming you!

In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half-day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license SEK 50/day.
