In this cozy, large, unique caravan, the nature lover will feel very much at home. A private garden, surrounded by quiet meadows, forest and heath. The wood stove is very comfortable on cold days, you must be able to burn! The caravan is 70 years old, still has many authentic elements. Please know that the caravan is not insulated, very warm in hot days, but then you are outside, with a lot of shade. It also cools down quickly. In bedroom there are screens and mosquito nets.

Veenhuizen (with the colonies of Weldadigheid), Norg and Bakkeveen are accessible by bicycle.

Walk to Norg or explore the UNESCO World Heritage Colonies of Benevolence within cycling distance. Groningen and Assen are within 30' by car.

In the middle of the Drenthe woods lies De Heeren van Norg: a detached holiday home on a private plot of 1600 m². Neighbors are within reach, no through traffic – only peace, space and nature. The warm interior is stylishly decorated with natural materials and a cozy pellet stove. Outside you will find a hot tub, a wood-fired Finnish sauna, an outdoor shower and an outdoor kitchen. The perfect place to relax and recharge.

Welcome in Holiday Cottage "Klein Duimpje. The fully refurbished cottage in 2021 is in the woods of Norg. A wonderfully quiet place, especially suitable for parents with 1 or 2 children. The cottage is small but comfortable. This way you can cook on induction and the cottage is electrically heated. As the name says, the cottage is unfortunately not suitable for tall or disabled people.

Between Groningen and Assen is the Maple in the middle of the forests of the Oosterduinen in Norg. Within walking distance is the nature reserve Noordsche Veld. The BBQ /fire pit/ping pong table/volleyball net are also provided. A visit to the Maallust beer brewery or the prison museum with a ride in the crooks bus is also recommended.
