Our brand new vacation home can accommodate 5 people and is located on a small-scale holiday park and right on the edge of the forest! This holiday home is modernly furnished and equipped with every comfort. Our environmentally friendly and energy efficient house offers all the comforts and comforts you need for a relaxing holiday. The beautiful village of Norg is within walking distance.

Welcome to Klein Nienoord, staying in a beautiful farmhouse from 1905 close to Groningen. The house has its own entrance and garden and is fully equipped. The luxurious sauna is a nice place to relax and if you want something more active you can use the gym. Within walking distance is the entrance to the Nienoord estate where you can take a beautiful walk. We have bicycles for rent to explore the area. Good to know: we do not provide breakfast. You do have your own kitchen with an oven.

This is a luxury vacationhome with all the amneties for a modern day vacation has two big bedroom and two wonderful bathrooms. The living room features a woodstove. There is TV, wifi and fast fiber internet. Around the house there are two terraces and a magnificent view of the lake! A wonderful place to relax.

From this ideally located accommodation and 3 km from the house you can undertake all kinds of activities such as cycling, mountain biking, trail running, hiccups, swimming, and shopping in Norg, Roden, Assen, Groningen or Zwolle. There are a number of dining options in Norg to enjoy a nice meal in the evenings. Put on your hiking boots and go spotting wildlife in the wild forests in Drenthe! Enjoy the evening sun with a glass of wine on the spacious roof terrace or veranda.

Large swimming pond. 2 spacious bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. 2 bicycles with child seats available for free and bicycles can be rented in the village. Washing machine and dryer are provided. Private parking, covered veranda. Groningen, Assen and Drachten are 25 minutes away by car. Veenhuizen (with the colonies of Weldadigheid), Norg and Bakkeveen are accessible by bicycle.

You can stay in the front house of a monumental farmhouse. Located on the outskirts of the woods and only 2km from the picturesque village of Norg. The cultural village of Veenhuizen, Assen, Appelscha and Groningen are also within a stone's throw away. I will be happy to greet you and wish you a wonderful stay in advance!

The painted House, bed & breakfast

You are welcome to stay at 't Beschilderde Huis to enjoy Jo's artistic/homely atmosphere. Guests have their own entrance, livingroom and kitchen. Bathroom/toilet and bedrooms are upstairs. Breakfast and/or eveningmeals are an extra option, but cost are not included. Groningen is a 15km bikeride. At 3km walk from the house there is a good busconnection. Host offers language lessons ( English, Italian, Dutch). We appreciate good communication before accepting requests.

You are welcome in our cozy apartment that is very centrally located in the north of the Netherlands. The apartment is 15 minutes from the city of Groningen. The Westerkwartier is characterized by the beautiful coulisse landscape. The provinces of Drenthe and Friesland are just around the corner. In a half hour drive you will find the Lauwersmeer area from where the boat leaves for Schiermonnikoog.
