Karin’s place outside of Amsterdam was a lovely stay. It is more out in the countryside so travel to the city requires a 20 minute walk, a 15 minute bus ride, and a 15-20 minute train ride, but it was very easy to navigate. The area is beautiful and quiet. Karin’s place is very spacious, clean, cozy, and well equipped for anything you might need. Checking in was easy and we were even welcomed with a fresh pastry and a glass of white wine. Karin’s communication is excellent and I rarely waited more than a few minutes for a response. Everything is clearly laid out on a booklet inside the place that includes restaurant recommendations and transportation information for getting around the area. The place is very comfortable and the private deck in the backyard is a nice touch. The town that is a 20 minute walk away was well equipped with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area and want a more quiet stay outside of the busy city.

The place is very good to go by car. Half an hour from everything. It's a country lodge, so there are insects. Which are normal, but somewhat annoying. Quite a few flies, but manageable. Very quiet place in the middle of nature and strategically located half an hour from several tourist hotspots. Recommended. We arrived very late and there was no problem. They left everything ready for us to enter and stay. The stay has everything we need.

We had a lovely stay at Anita’s place! It’s a beautifully clean, well-equipped, and private apartment, nestled in a quiet village setting close to nature—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The location is great for exploring both Amsterdam and Den Haag, each about a 40-minute drive away. Anita is a wonderful host—very responsive and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s worth noting that having a car is definitely helpful for getting around and exploring the area comfortably. Also, the apartment is accessed via a set of steep stairs, so it might not be ideal for those needing a barrier-free space. All in all, a charming stay in a tranquil location with everything we needed. We’d happily return!
