This fully renovated traditional house is located in Minamiozen, Kagoshima Prefecture, the southernmost town on the mainland. When you enter the room, you will see the view of the Kinkouwan Bay spreading out across the window and Mt. Satsuma, also known as Kaihodo, on the opposite shore, and you will exclaim, "Wow!" and you'll be captivated by the blue sea. The view can be seen not only from the living room, but also from the open bathroom. You can move directly from the room to the spacious wooden deck with a BBQ stove and sink, via the deck terrace that extends from the living room. You can enjoy a relaxing private time while listening to the sound of the waves without worrying about people watching. Nearby, you can drive to Ohama Gold Beach, Sata Cape and Yukawa Falls, and Nishiharadai Panorama Park. The abundant nature along the way is also comforting. In the evening, the sunset from the living room, bathroom, and wooden deck is truly spectacular. And the starry sky after the sun sets is breathtaking. The room also has free WiFi and a projector that displays on the white wall. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and seasonings, so you can bring your own ingredients and cook. This is a flat in Motomachi, the center of Minami-Tane. You can walk to the convenience store in 2 minutes, and you can walk to almost all restaurants in Kamichu (Minami-Tane's downtown area). It is in the center of town, yet quiet. The bungalow, which was built over 40 years ago, was completely renovated in 2022. Neru Hut is a house nestled in the forest, a 10-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, 15 minutes from Miyakonojura Port, and 10 minutes by car from restaurants and supermarkets. There is also a river on the premises and you can go down and bathe in the water. You'll feel like you're wandering into a private space deep in the mountains. What you can enjoy during your stay at this house is the quietness. 360 degrees, the green jumps into your eyes. Come and be healed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounded by nature. The starry sky at night is also a must-see. It is our wish that you will be embraced by the stars and remember the original landscape. Hachimanju Tea Garden and Jomon Farm are within walking distance. Relatively close to Miyanoura, Awa, and the airport, the location is excellent for sightseeing, shopping, and bus travel.

The building is a converted fisherman's barn. We will cook fish together, heat Goemon bath with firewood, and provide you with a stay as if you were living with us. One cooking experience is included during your stay. On other days, you will stay without meals. Optional fishing boat tour (extra charge) is also available.

We chose our accommodation's location carefully to make it as convenient as possible. Yakushima is quite remote and doesn't have many transportation options. Yakushima is relatively large, covering about 100 kilometers. There are restaurants and supermarkets scattered around, but it can be challenging to find rental cars or taxis. →You can walk to popular restaurants in just 3 minutes, so you can have a great meal and easily return. Additionally, a supermarket is only a 7-minute walk away.
