Our cabin is nestled in a wooded area & is very private. 15 minutes from 3 different towns with Wadena being the biggest. There's a queen bed on the main floor bedroom and a queen bed in the loft bedroom. WIFI/ cable television are available. Can sleep with the windows open or use the air conditioning. Outdoor pets are welcome, no pets inside please. You will have a view of the pond & we see deer on a daily basis. We will supply bedding, bath towels, cooking utensils, plates, cups & silverware.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Oak Grove Cabin

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Located on a private lot on Ethel Lake, you will have lake access to your own private beach just steps away from the deck and a dock to secure any boat, kayak, canoe, or raft. Perfect for a family getaway. This home has 3 bedrooms (5 beds), 2.5 bathrooms, and an open basement for rainy day activities. Located just a short walk from the 1910 Sip House and a short drive to nearby towns of Ottertail and Battle Lake.

The city of Ottertail is a highly desired Minnesota vacation spot. The home is a short 2 minute drive away. Ottertail has fun shops, delicious restaurants, and a couple of golf courses.
