You will have your own entrance to the apartment. From the bedroom entrance to the TV room/kitchenette with the possibility of sleeping 2 people on the sofa bed. From the TV room, there is access to a private bathroom/toilet. There will be the opportunity to store things in a refrigerator with a small freezer. Apartment of approx. 22m2 with loft, private bathroom with shower, private kitchen with refrigerator and induction plates. The annex is located at an angle to the carport/tool shed and is in the garden. There are 4 beds, two on the loft and two on the sofa bed. Duvets/pillows/linens/towels/dishcloths are for free use. There is the possibility of borrowing a washing machine/dryer, and the greenhouse is for free use, however, together with the host couple. The home is located about 2 km from the fjord and forest and 8 km from Juelsminde.

We have associated banquet rooms for about 100 guests that you can rent separately. The price depends on the number of guests and is agreed upon when booking. The tower can be rented as a bridal suite and is a wonderful place to propose to your sweetheart. You have the entire 74 m2 apartment to yourselves and are welcome to use the front terrace, as well as the lake area

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Cabin to the nature lovers

Experience nature close to Rørbæk lake, at the Jutland ridge, (30 min. walk from the cabin), springs Denmark's two largest rivers, Gudenåen and Skjernåen, with only a few hundred meters distance and runs in different directions towards the sea(10 min. walk from the cabin) In the same place, Hærvejen crosses the river valley. Wake up every day with different birdsong. From Billund airport by bus it is about 2 hours to the cabin We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. It is furnished with a double bed (140x200 cm), a table, two chairs, a bathroom with bath and toilet, and a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Service is available. The annex is heated and has hot water.
