We are close to Syracuse NY, Jamesville Beach,and Tully. You’ll love our place because - Well, its a Hobbit House :). Very cozy 12 by 12 cabin set in the back of my land right where the woods start. Small cabin good for a couple and maybe a child or two but no more than that. It has an outhouse. If this is sounding too basic or off the grid then please don't book! :) because that's exactly what is. But you also get to say you stayed in a cozy little hobbit house.

This is an absolutely gorgeous setting for relaxing. The property has the most beautiful picture window looking out to the water. We enjoyed watching the sunset while having cocktails on the patio. It is minutes away from the Village of Skaneateles, ideal for shopping and great dining.

We had a girl's weekend and enormously enjoyed this gem of a property. We relaxed lakeside, had beautiful surroundings, and a front row seat to the wildlife that strolled through the property; geese, cranes, and lots of birds! The property was exactly as stated, well thought out and well stocked. We'd definitely come back to this rental. Highly recommend it!

The home was great. My family and I stayed for 6 nights. The home was extremely clean and cozy. The kitchen was easy to navigate. The living room was comfortable and had a big TV. The bedrooms were a good size and nicely furnished. The bathrooms were super clean and modern. The laundry room was well stocked.

Heather’s “school house” is charming and rich in history with an artistic flair. Very intentional. Perfectly located near Syracuse and Skaneatlas. And Heather was a lovely host. if it’s available, highly recommend that you buy their honey.

I was in need a a getaway for a month mid-winter, Central New York. I was so glad that walk ways and parking areas were cleared daily of ice an snow. There was a nature trail directly across the street that provided a pristine winter walkway. The home was set in a private, quiet neighborhood with groceries and fine restaurants very close by. Bailey, the caretaker, did just that...took care of whatever I needed. The home was beautiful, minimal decor with a calm peaceful feel. The kitchen was fully equipped for my month long stay. I will treasure the memory of this month away.

Dave was a great host, any time we had questions or concerns he responded immediately throughout the whole trip. Will definitely be returning if I am ever in this area. Great sound system throughout the house, very nice fire place in the living room with its stand alone surround sound system. Huge windows facing the lake that create a great vibe in the morning. Biggest thing is that the place was spotless.
