What a unique place, beautifully decorated in detail, there is atmosphere in and around the house. The stove was burning and the lights in the house were already on, making it nice to 'come home'. Special with the animals around you that you can experience from the stable house. Horse coaching is recommended. A place to relax, to inspire and also nice for a family. Edith and her family are wonderful hosts.

A very nice and nice b&b, with Marina as an enthusiastic and thoughtful hostess! Even before arrival, she inquires about your wishes. The spacious bathroom with 2-person hot tub is great, cozy, clean, with wonderful ritual products. Breakfast is extensive and very tasty. You can pass on your wishes. The large bed is lovely. And we really liked all the thoughtful surprises from Marina in your room, on arrival and during the stay. She and her whole family are very welcoming, while also respecting the privacy of the guests. In terms of location, it is a nice central point to visit the eleven cities, with several cozy restaurants in Bolsward where you can get from the b&b. Highly recommend this b&b, we'd love to come back!

Some cottages are just cottages. And some are silences in which you find words. This was one of them. Received with two beers. No welcome folder with rules, but a lighter at the hot tub and a feeling of: "you are exactly right as you arrive here." The view? Horses. Grass. Breath. The smell? Wood fire. Coffee. Spicy memories of last night. The vibe? Between flights and coming home. I came here to write. To be alone. And to close a chapter. Mission accomplished. Gelmer and Nienke have built something that is right. Not because it's big, but because it's the right size. Every detail feels like it's been chosen with care, from the record player to the bed in which I actually slept like a man without deadlines. Tip for the next guest: bring something you can let go of. A very pleasant and spacious apartment in an old mansion with beautiful views. Anne and Paul are very welcoming and have all the time and attention for you. I'd love to come back.
