We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

The spacious 80 m² apartment with 2 to 7 beds in our lovingly renovated half-timbered house above the rooftops of Ziegenhagen invites you to linger and relax. On the balcony, you can enjoy wonderful views over the forests. The imposing half-timbered house accommodates 12 nice people in 3 generations for many good conversations. Likewise, my catering, from which you can also have a delicious meal from time to time. In our foyer there is a library for lounging on cozy sofas.

We welcome you in the heart of Germany not far from the city of Kassel. You only need 15 minutes to the city center or the exhibition halls. With a direct connection to the A7 you can get in all directions in 5 minutes. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site with the Hercules or take a trip to nearby Hann Münden with its beautiful half-timbered houses. The Edersee is very well known as a local recreation area. Take advantage of the beautiful bike paths directly on the Fulda.

The direct access to the forest invites you for hiking and relaxing walks. Along the three rivers there are great bike routes. The historic old town (20 min) and shopping facilities (5 min) are also within walking distance. Free parking is available on the street.

Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.

Discover our charming 65 sqm top floor apartment! This light-flooded unit offers you a cozy bedroom, an inviting living room with a flexible stacking bed that can be arranged individually, as well as a bathroom with shower and window. In the small kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare a small meal. Please note that the roof slope in the kitchen may be a bit uncomfortable for tall people when washing dishes.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
