In the summer months, there is the possibility of using a swim spa with counter-current system (by arrangement with surcharge). The large couch can be converted into a bed, so that even four people can stay. Please ask about the surcharge per additional person.

You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

This small, approx. 50 sqm granny apartment is located on the outskirts of Schotten, on the edge of the Vogelsberg/Hoherodskopf. Here you can go hiking or cycling perfectly. Shops and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The apartment has one bedroom (bed 2 × 2 m)/bathroom/kitchen-living room and a small covered terrace. A parking space is right by the house. Bicycles can be parked on/next to the terrace and charged if needed.

All rooms with kitchen and bathroom can be fully used. In the vicinity you will find great hiking routes, reservoirs, Europe's largest extinguished volcano and even a swimming pool nearby on foot. A thermal bath with salt cave is 13 km away (Bad Salzhausen).

The Schellnhof, a pretty forest farm near Schotten-Einartshausen, is located alone right on the edge of the forest. The farm is pure idyll. The area is characterized by the hilly landscape of the Vogelsberg and offers wonderful opportunities for walking or hiking. Leisure activities such as golf, tennis, surfing, sailing, etc. are very close.
