Romantic farm cottage near the coast, with stunning mountain views. Enjoy peace and quiet in an unspoilt landscape, yet just a short walk from the historic village of Nevern, with its ancient church and traditional pub. Nearby Newport has cafes, restaurants and galleries and is only a 5 minute drive away, as is the famous Pembrokeshire coast path. Sandy beaches, secluded coves, woodland and mountain walks are all within easy reach. A perfect retreat for a couple wanting to get away from it all.
“We stayed for 4 nights at Alice's immaculate cottage which is absolutely beautiful, stunning and idyllic. Alice met us on out arrival outside the cottage, she is a really lovely, friendly lady. Alice explained that the cottage had been thoroughly deep cleaned prior to our arrival and that extra cleaning measures have also been put in place, this was really reassuring. Plenty of antibacterial products are also provided in the cottage. Alice also gave us lots of useful information about the cottage and local area. The cottage itself is so gorgeous, there are sheep and wildlife literally on the cottage doorstep. The cottage's garden was blooming with beautiful wildflowers and other colourful flowers, it looks out on to nothing but meadows with sheep, birds and rabbits. We sat out on the garden table and chairs and watched the sunset, breathing in the country air. We had a clear night whilst we were there, the stars are out of this world as no light pollution. The cottage is very well equipped with a cosy real fire which is a lovely touch. The bed was super comfy and we had everything we needed. The location of the cottage is just stunning. From the cottage, we walked into the picturesque village of Nevern which is about a 7 min walk. We had a few drinks and food in the Trewern Arms there which was really nice. We sat outside due to the social distancing rules but this was fine as it was quite warm. We also visited coastal Newport which is again very picturesque and a 5 min drive from the cottage. We ate at The Castle pub, the food and service were top notch. We also collected freshly made takeaway pizzas from The Canteen which were really tasty. We walked part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, from Strumble Head lighthouse to the Iron Age Fort which I highly recommend to see Pembrokeshire's breathtaking coastline. We adore Pembrokeshire and loved Alice's wonderful cottage, we will definitely be booking again in the future. It was a perfect little getaway and a little piece of heaven, just what we needed after the last few tough months of lockdown.”

“Our stay at Jana’s was fabulous despite the pandemic drama. Lovely peaceful town. We got takeaway pizza from the Canteen on the corner of our street, lit the fire and had a cosy night in. Bed very comfy and whole space is very stylish and lovely. Pretty views from the back windows to the castle. Would love to come back when all this is over and we can see the town and Jana’s cafe in normal life!”
A detached property in an idyllic quiet rural location on the slopes of Carn Ingli set approx. 1 mile from Newport town itself. Above the cattle grid on the mountain, surrounded by wild ponies and sheep, with open walking immediately from the property (you can also walk into town off road) and fabulous views in every direction. ( Extensive sea views on mountain walks.) We have a cat and people friendly dogs who are shut away from the residential areas overnight.
“Vivienne’s house is lovely with a cracking view of the Irish Sea and the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside. The room I was in was very clean and cosy and lovely and warm. There is a great bathroom available and a lovely breakfast room with tea and coffee making facilities and cereals and toast. Vivienne is very friendly, helpful and welcoming and gave me directions on how to get to places and advice on local eateries, etc. A jolly good Airbnb!”
