Pet-friendly vacation rentals in New Milford

This beautiful property has a special place in our hearts. We stayed in the A frame during COVID and we always wanted to come back. This time we stayed in the main house and it was phenomenal. Wish the weather was better for us to use the pool, but next time! It well worth the price. Only an hr from the city and it feels like a full vacation. Wonderful way to lose time time for a few days. We will be back!

Such a fun old home, reminded my wife of the old farmhouse she grew up in. The location was perfect for our needs and there was enough space for everyone.

Martina’s cottage was fantastic. Everything was as advertised. Fantastic lighting, large space and, unbelievable views.

We had such a lovely weekend staying in this cozy cabin. The views of the river and ridge from the yard were beautiful and calming. We were able to have a late check out with ease! Definitely will be back to stay again!

A very lovely place to stay! The description matched the place exactly. We enjoyed spending a lot of time outside on the deck bird watching and even saw some fish jumping in the river. The property is also very private which was a huge plus -- no visible neighbors in any direction while spending time outside. Seth was a very responsive host and did a great job with the design of the house. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay extra nice. Would love to stay again!

Every detail was thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing and fun getaway. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. We had a great time a the farmhouse. Very clean and cozy. Whitney was a great host, very helpful and responsive. The house is very unique and bigger than expected. The beds were also very comfortable. There was even a clean dog bed and bowl for our pups!

Highly recommend Patrick and Monica’s location. You feel right at home when you walk! The pool and patio views are breathtaking. The beds are very comfortable. Patrick was super responsive to my messages regarding restaurants.

Great stay at Jasmine’s well furnished, rustic feel cottage. Peaceful location but just a quick ride to Woodstock, Kingston and Rhinebeck. Pool was perfect - we used it everyday. Heat bathroom floors is a nice touch!

Blake is a kind and attentive host. The house is fun and eclectic. Many interesting things to look at, art books to leaf through and she has a great record album collection. It has all the necessities you would hope to see in an airbandb. I like the location. We enjoyed taking a hike in Mount Beacon park to see the remnants of an old casino and great views of the Hudson Valley.

The Eco Cottage was a perfect, tiny gem tucked away in the middle of the beautiful green woods. It was so private, peaceful, and serene. It truly felt like my own little retreat and since I was there to go on a retreat, this was the perfect place to lay my head at night. I loved walking the trails and wow, the pool, which looked so inviting (even if it was a bit too chilly to use this time!). Everything was clean, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Hosts checked in regularly but gave me my privacy. I really enjoyed my stay SO MUCH and will absolutely be booking here again the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Our second time staying at Maitopia with our cat, just as wonderful in a different warmer season. Tina was super responsive as usual and even accommodated a late checkout. We enjoyed feasting in the kitchen as well as grilling in the yard, floating around in the pool when it was warm enough out, "hiking" with our cat on a leash around the forest on the property, taking baths, streaming music. We didn't leave the property much, but it was a fun highlight to get a few local produce items at nearby Greig farm and meet the adorable goats. One tip- bring an eyemask if you're sensitive to light in the mornings- there aren't any window shades in the bedroom.

Enjoyed our stay in the woods with a beautiful view of the river. Easy to get to and very close to the charming town of New Milford and many good restaurants. Although right off a busy road it was quiet inside the house. The great room, which is on the top floor, is wonderful and perfect for both working and entertaining and has a full bath. It looks like the photos with an amazing view. The bedrooms and another bath are underneath. The master bedroom is the best. Just be aware you can hear the footsteps from above and not all of the bedroom windows have bug screens. The entertainment room on the lower level which opens into the yard is filled with games and a large tv and was lots of fun. The weather was cool & rainy so we didn’t use the outdoor space as much as we thought we would but there was a kayak. The house was private and although there is no interior deadbolt we felt safe. The house was clean with good heat/ac and wi fi. Hosts were responsive.

My husband and I stayed at Vincenzo's house when visiting friends in CT with our 2 puppies. His home couldn't have been more perfect! It's an absolutely gorgeous property, looks even better in person than in the pictures (if that's even possible) and everything was exactly as listed in the detailed instructions and info he provided. Vincenzo was very kind and responsive whenever we had a question or needed anything. If you have a small group looking for a beautiful, chill location in which to hang out and enjoy nature, you can't pick a better place. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great stay here for the weekend of a wedding in the area. The area is so beautiful, and the spot was just what we needed! Pristine and so comfortable, with lovely views all around from your balcony. The family had a lovely time.

We had an excellent stay at Jessica's! The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. And of course quiet owing to the location. There is a forest right behind which was perfect for exploration with the kids. A 5-minute walk took us to an absolutely gorgeous scenery with a pond, fields and forest, from which lovely walks are available. We also enjoyed the kayaks on the lake nearby. All this is in a very peaceful and quiet environment. Jessica's communication was perfect, she was very responsive and helpful and kindly let us check out late on the last day. If you come with young kids, bear in mind the steep stairs and lots of fragile items/art in the house.

The loft was a standout room—such a cool and unique design that added to the whole experience. Waking up to those stunning views each morning was a dream, and the peaceful, secluded atmosphere made it the perfect escape. The host was communicative, kind, and made everything seamless from start to finish. I can’t recommend this place enough. It exceeded all expectations and made for an unforgettable weekend. Will absolutely be returning to see the other units!

We rented this house for our family visiting us as our house could not accommodate everyone. Highly recommend - we will try to rent the house again for our family when they visit next time. My family and I stayed at this Airbnb during my wedding weekend and it was perfect! The house is beautiful. It had one bedroom and bath downstairs for my grandma to stay in so she didn’t need to go up the stairs. The kitchen is amazing! It was a great distance to the Candlewood Inn where we got married. Jessica was very responsive and always checking in. Would definitely stay here again!

Anne’s place was gorgeous and peaceful. The space at her the photos and was exactly what I wanted for a short weekend. The area was quiet and close to New Preston which has a few places to eat and hiking trails.
