Everything worth seeing in Saalfeld can be reached on foot and there is free parking behind the house. Opposite is another (1 room) apartment that I also rent via Airbnb. When booking the accommodation for tourist activities, a tourist tax is due.

Fantastic location! Unfortunately, we were only there one night. The surroundings are simply wonderful. In the apartment, I felt a bit like in a mountain cabin, which I liked very much. A good choice in the area. Communication with Michael was very friendly and straightforward.

Sandar and Hans are very nice - we had no problems at arrival and departure, everything went smoothly. The house is in a well-maintained condition and very clean. The kitchen was great! The communication was top notch. The house has a quiet and private location - beautiful view of the village. The surroundings are very nice and great for short hiking tours. The garden invites you to relax and barbecue. Shopping and restaurants in Großbreitenbach are about 8 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. We will be back!

We had a really nice weekend in the Thuringian Forest! The apartment is in a quiet location, was sparkling clean and really lovingly furnished – just right to switch off and feel good. Silke was really nice and had a lot of good tips for us, which made the stay even more relaxing. We felt really well taken care of and would come back any time. Absolutely recommended!

Thank you for the great experience, the construction car is super cozy and after 300km on the motorcycle it was great to warm up by the stove. Otherwise, you can say everything is super clean and well maintained and the location is super secluded and therefore totally quiet and a real insider tip for star lovers. I have rarely seen such a great starry sky in Germany. The hosts are super nice and helpful, thank you for the uncomplicated process.
