Really enjoyed my stay here the room was up to date and very comfortable, great location and view.

If you are looking for something inexpensive, Close to the airport, basic, clean and safe while staying in Port Blair then Andaman Woods is just the place for you. My friend and I had a lot planned for our trip so all we needed was a nice clean n centrally locates place and that’s when we came across Andaman woods. It is hardly 10 minutes away from the airport and run by a retired banker along with his daughter who helps with the booking etc of the place. It is a newly constructed building and the staff are very helpful at all times. They helped us with all our bookings be it the ferry, day trips to different islands, cabs/ auto bookings , aipport pick and drop etc. while we were planning our trip Nidhi was very responsive to all our texts and calls. She not only clarified our questions about our stay with them but also guided us with our planning. The amenities are very basic and were perfect for what we wanted .. the food is very homely, the room and overall building cleanliness is maintained continuously, they have wifi (not very fast but that’s the same anywhere in A&N) and have hot water geysers in every room. Overall we loved our stay there and felt very welcome and at home the whole time. We highly recommend Andaman woods and will defiantly be returning to stay with them on our next trip. Big thank you to Nidhi and her dad for helping make our trip a memorable one !

pros: Mohan is very humble and good. Helped us in all the possible ways. Rooms are super clean. Airport view is good from the place. Good and healthy. Secured place. cons: location is bit interior and clumpsy.

Jabbar bhai is a great person taking care of all his guests at this age. His family approach offering bananas to us has won our hearts. Everything is OK here but being old we felt the need of an elevator while using the stairs. Hopefully he may think about it in the near future. I wish Jabbar bhai good health and a beautiful life. Thank you a lot Jabbar bhai.

Hotel Sandhya Residency, Port Blair Stayed at Hotel Sandhya Residency during our trip to Port Blair, and it was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were a bit smaller than expected, and the bed was firmer than anticipated, but the stay was comfortable nonetheless. The food was generally good and affordable when ordered from the hotel. Although it didn’t match our taste on a few occasions, it was still a satisfying option. A special shoutout to Mansoor and Rashid for their exceptional room service and guidance. They were always available to help and made our stay more enjoyable. Deepak, the manager, also played a key role in helping us decide on the best places to visit and assisted us in hiring local cabs, which made our sightseeing much more convenient. Overall, it was a decent stay with good service and amenities. Would recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable and reliable place in Port Blair.

Ravi picked us up front the airport and was very helpful. Watching different ships and boats go by while drinking coffee (which was amazing) on the balcony was quite a nice way to get to understand this old port town. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, especially, the air conditioning helped a lot in this heat! Ravi shared different stories and even recommended a couple of places to eat. from South Indian breakfasts to great seafood restaurants, he knows all the hole in the wall eateries too! I'd recommend going to the Zoological Survey of India, which is just 2 mins away from the apartment, to see a beautiful collection of species that are found in the Andamans! and the next day, it was a 2 min drive to the ferry terminal to head to Havelock! Super convinient.

Stay at Ajay's place was very comfortable and pleasant. We stayed there for two days and Ajay was very responsive from Booking his stay till checkout. The place was very clean and near to many popular attractions of Port blair. The pool area was nice. It felt like home away from home. He provided us with everything we needed. He also gave us advice which places we should visit and what not and also told us about the local culture. The caretaker boy Abhishek was very helpful during our stay. He took good care of us.....Because of him we felt like home. Thank you very much Ajay and Abhishek..😀😀

Great place to stay. Very clean and very attentive staff. The location is also pretty good. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. Very good location.
