Monthly Rentals in Nedstrand

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by our hospitable hosts, Åse and Alex, with a delicious cup of coffee. The cabin is beautifully located and offers breathtaking views. From this location, there are plenty of possibilities for excursions. The hiking tours to Himakånå and Hest are highly recommended. You can also reach the city of Haugesund in about 1 hour by car, and from Nedstrand you can take the pedestrian ferry to Stavanger. On our last night, we were invited to enjoy hot waffles with Åse and Alex, served with homemade jam and rhubarb compote – a particularly warm and personal end to our stay.

We loved our stay! We felt home directly, the host were so friendly and helpful. The view is stunning and we enjoyed great weather in the little garden and on the terrace. Also the hike nearby that our host helped us with was very special. We could have stayed longer easily. Very calm, easy to walk to the water and great to find peace!

Randi’s place is a hidden gem - though small in size, the cabin is fully equipped and you’ve got the essentials to need for a short stay. Randi’s also very friendly and she offered to let me feed one of her sheeps. She also recommended places to go and eat around the area which I enjoyed every much.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The place is idyllic and perfect for two families who want to relax and enjoy nature. We used both boats and kayaks, and the kids were thrilled to see crabs - extra nice that the host took the time to show them. The evenings were spent around the campfire and in the jacuzzi – a perfect end to nice days. Everything was clean, well organized and incredibly cozy. Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and tranquility. We will definitely be back - thank you so much!
