Mijn Tiny huisje Borneo is gelegen op een prachtig eiland, bereikbaar per boot, in de Vinkeveense Plassen op slechts 15 minuten van het centrum van Amsterdam als Utrecht. Na een dagje in een van deze drukke steden is het een heerlijke plek om lekker te relaxen. Je waant je er in een oase van rust midden in de natuur, terwijl je aan de horizon Amsterdam nog ziet liggen. Het huisje is voorzien van alle luxe. Per boot kun je ook het meer verder verkennen. Ook zwemmen en vissen zijn goed mogelijk.

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Mondriaan heeft veel in deze omgeving geschilderd. Ons gastenverblijf voor twee personen staat achter het oude Tolhuis aan het Velterslaantje. Het is een zelfstandig huisje met eenvoudige keuken, woonkamer en badkamer met regendouche. Het huisje heeft vloerverwarming. Een houten trap leidt naar de slaapverdieping.

Bohemian Farmhouse is not a standard holiday home. It feels like staying in a private museum, filled with art, objects and atmosphere. A place for people who value quiet, character and space (but still close to Amsterdam). The backhouse is what we offer for rent: this used to be the stables in the old days and is now a big, open space with an upstairs.
