Very quietly located apartment on the edge of the forest in the small district of Altneudorf of the Odenwald town of Schönau in the district of Heidelberg. On 50 square meters, we offer accommodation with cozy warmth thanks to the included fireplace. The area offers numerous beautiful hiking trails, castles and other excursion destinations, etc. In the summer months (June/July/August/possibly September) our in-ground pool (heated by solar - water temperature is therefore dependent on the hours of sunshine) can be used in the garden.

Painting town on the edge of the Odenwald, walking distance to downtown Neckarsteinach and Neckarpromenade. Lots of hiking and cycling trails. We will be at your disposal for questions, tips/recommendations.

High above the Neckar Valley, the forest house, renovated in 2018, stands on a large garden plot right on the edge of the forest. The house was built in the last century as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the noisy city and today serves exactly this purpose again. The new cast iron stove, which takes over the heating of the house with logs, fits the character of the house. Without the stove, the cottage remains cold at corresponding outside temperatures!

Small cottage on the Dilsberg

Small house within the beautiful, old fortress Dilsberg, near Heidelberg. The house is decorated with a lot of love for detail and part of the old fortress wall. Renovated in 2019, exclusively ecological materials were used. On the ground floor are placed living room, kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The bedroom and a small anteroom are accessible upstairs via a narrow staircase. There are two wood stoves. Firewood is there. NO WiFi!

There were two of us and we were able to divide ourselves well between the bedroom and living room. The location on the Neckar with hiking trails outside the door is optimal. We were able to have breakfast on the terrace in the sun with a view of the rear castle. Loved it.

The accommodation is very good and spacious and just a 10 min drive to at least 2 supermarkets. Getting access to the apartment was easy and it is very clean and well furnished, it is warm with underfloor heating and plenty of hot water. Parking is easy and surrounding countryside and walks are beautiful. We are very likely to stay here again and Tina the host is very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Tina

What a view! The view from the balcony over the Neckar alone is worth a visit. The balcony is beautiful, south-facing and offers plenty of space to sit together with several people or to enjoy the breathtaking view in the hanging chair. The apartment itself also has everything you want and looks very freshly renovated. Two cozy beds, an electronically extendable sofa, a well-equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with a beautiful shower - what more could you want? The contact with Daniel incl. Check-in was very nice, relaxed and reliable. We would have liked to have stayed longer. (We recommend a visit to the Café & Loungerie at the Geopark, which can be reached on foot in one minute.)

The apartment in the forester's house is cozy and very stylish, furnishings and amenities are new and no longer correspond to the photos, so our expectations were even exceeded. The terrace is very nice for a sunny breakfast and a shady dinner. The location is fantastic, right on the edge of the forest and yet only a few minutes' walk to the S-BAHN. Elisabeth is a super nice hostess, gives great tips for things to do nearby and takes great care of the well-being of her guests. We enjoyed the stay!
