In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. All guests have a private apartment, there is 1 apartment per level. So there is a lot of privacy. Downstairs we have a laundry, which you can use. We have a chocolate atelier, where you are always welcome ! The setting is immediately adjacent to the city's famous Graffiti Street. A tasting in the chocolate studio below is a must, after which stroll to some of Ghent's many boutiques, and perhaps the weekend antiques market in nearby St Jacob's Square. From the railway station, you take the MAIN tram line no 1 to the city centre, we are at 300m from the stop GRAVENSTEEN (castle)

Brightfull one bedroom appartment located in Nazareth, 12 km away from the city center of Ghent. The appartment has a very large living room with fully equiped kitchen. Nice bathroom. 1 bedroom with double bed. There is also a south-oriented terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner when the weather is nice. The appartment is on walking distance from good bakeries, supermarkets and public transportations. A direct bus to Ghent is stopping 1 minute away from our front door.

In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. Vacation home "Ruwe Schure" is rural, located close to Bruges, Damme, Knokke, Ghent. You can book for 4 to 6 people, there are 2 rooms each with a double bed and 2 chambrettes (2 single beds). There is also an extra relaxation room with pool table and darts. There are wonderful hiking and biking routes. All the necessities are available to stay comfortably, you can even do laundry there.
