Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nazaré

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

von der Kommunikation her, die Ausstattung und die Lage… einfach traumhaft für mich als surfer. hat alles was man braucht, sehr gute Surfspots direkt vor der Haustür danach entspannen im Whirlpool auf der Dachterasse. umgeben von feinen Restaurants, einfach der Hammer :) lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

Zuzanna und Tibor waren immer hilfsbereit und die Möglichkeit Boards direkt vor Ort auszuleihen, war genial. auch der Kontakt zu der Surfschule war einfach und sehr angenehm. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für einen tollen Urlaub.

War jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal da - wunderschönes Anwesen, toller Pool u Whirlpool, sehr nette Eigentümer. Äußerst empfehlenswert falls man mal abschalten möchte.

Beautiful house by the beach! We loved the peace and the view. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of charm (and a lovely little library). The kitchen especially is well-stocked. Since you’re surrounded by nature there are many spiders, snakes and lizards (mostly outside, thankfully). We visited in November and the temperature in the house really dropped at night (from 20C to 15C). The only option to heat is a small and somewhat noisy space heater, so if you visit in winter be prepared with warm clothes. That was the only thing we found difficult during an otherwise extremely pleasant stay. Pedro was a very friendly and engaged host!

Nazare was a great in-between spot from Lisbon to Porto to have a rest from all the up and down walking. We had a spectacular time. The weather was amazing, locals were friendly and inviting. Lots to see and do. Oh and don’t forget to take up a surf lesson. You won’t be disappointed. Also try Tabernessa, the fresh fish was delightful! We will return on day:))

Tim was a great host! The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable to stay in. We loved Nazaré!

Bien placé pour les activités aux alentours Voiture obligatoire même pour aller à la plage en bas ( on est descendu à pied…..il a fallu remonter 🤪) Monica et son frère son très sympathique et accueillant. La maison est un peu humide ( conditions météo oblige) des climatiseurs dans toutes les pièces. Maison très agréable et assez jolie. La petite boulangerie /bar/ bureau de tabac à 100 mètres est un plus. Le restaurant à l’opposé également à 100 mètres est un autre plus. Je recommande cette maison sans hésiter.👍👍👍

Elisa's place is a beautiful, quiet, perfect home base for any stay in Nazaré. You can feel the care taken to ensure a great visit. It's just removed enough to feel very calm, but incredibly quick to get closer to the busier areas on foot. Comfy beds, common space to gather as a group. Would stay here again any day! Check out / support the specialty coffee shop Colour Beans & the surf school Surf4You! A driving note: Getting there by car can be difficult, but Elisa does a good job of assisting (she's very responsive and kind). You have to go up a small side street that looks like it may be a one way street to get to the garage entrance (then head inside to get the garage door opener from the apartment). Once you find it everything is smooth sailing. Very nice having a dedicated space for the car.

The Magic House. What an exquisite experience with warm and generous people in a truly magical place. I have stayed in many rentals, but my stay here tops everything. From the moment of my inquiry, Vito, Fatima, and Vera met my every communication with kindness and a sense of hospitality that defies expectations. Fatima met me and left me to bask in the wonder of the apartment and its calm sea view, its cozy spots to curl up and relax, including an outdoor porch and an airy loft with window seat. The apartment sparkled. Throughout my stay, Vito and Fatima checked in to make sure everything was going well; they invited me for coffee and let me know when events were happening in the village. They shared their home, but during my seven day stay, it felt my own. A wonderful retreat or a cheerful and inviting place for family to stay in the heart of Nazare, steps from the beach, restaurants, groceries, and surf. A treasure in every way. I feel fortunate.

O espaço exterior é um anfiteatro privado de beleza natural, sem qualquer ruído urbano, apenas sons da natureza e piscina incrível. Durante a noite, a ausência de luz artificial, permite-nos ver as estrelas. Casas coloridas, acolhedoras e com acesso a tudo o que foi necessário. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelos Bernardo, que nos deixou completamente à vontade para disfrutar da nossa estadia com privacidade e nos presenteou com ovos caseiros e maçãs Fuji. Wir haben als Familie ein paar Tage in der Unterkunft verbracht. Dino hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt und erklärt und er hat uns Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Das Appartement war tipptopp geputzt und es war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Leider hatten wir nicht ganz so warmes Wetter und konnten so den grandiose Dachpool nicht wirklich nutzen. Die Wohnung ist gut gelegen, man ist schnell am Strand und es gibt viele Restaurants zur Auswahl. Ich kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen.

Had such a lovely week in Nazaré. Rachelle was such a great host - we were delayed due to flight delays on arrival and she waited until 1:30am to say hi to us and show us around. She was very responsive with replies and we locked our key in the house and she dropped one off straight away! The house was really clean and had lots of cooking amenities. We opted to have the pool heated for the extra €120 and I woukd definitely recommend this as it was really warm! The property is a little bit far outside of nazare centre, so you really need to get taxis to and from town but we used Ubers a lot which were only €4 each way. We surfed most days at Praia des pareses which is a lovely beach with great waves. Overall a lovely trip. Would recommend. Only minor issue was having to be quiet after 10pm and not use the pool after this time so if you are wanting a more party week then I’d probably look at other options. For us this was fine though :) Thanks Rachelle!

This place is amazing, we have stayed in Airbnbs all over the world for the past 10 years and this one it at the very top. It’s a special place with a special host. A car is a must, but you are close to everything, we particularly loved Nazare. You are in very good hands with Kristine and her husband. We wished we could have stayed longer. This spacious home is within walking distance of the Nazare waves (visited in January), offering views from both the beach and the lighthouse. It's conveniently located for day trips to Lisbon and charming nearby towns. The home is in a quiet area, features scenic views, and includes most essentials for cooking. Note that the beds are quite firm, so consider bringing a sleeping pad if you prefer softer support. The host was friendly and provided helpful information about the area and the property.

Het huisje was echt TOP! Alles was je maar nodig kon hebben was aanwezig. Het was schattig ingericht met oog op detail. We hebben vooral gebruik gemaakt van de buitenruimte. Het was zalig vertoeven in de tuin en aan het zwembad. We kunnen het enkel aan iedereen aanraden!!!

We had a fantastic time, it was very private and relaxing. The house is very well thought out, clean and the facilities available were extraordinary. The space in the house was brilliant and having 2 bathrooms was great. The outside pool area was very private. We could have happily just stayed at the house for the week. The main town of Alcobaça was a 9min drive. The amenities in the town were second to none with every shop available. Also Being 10 min away from major motor ways , meant that traveling to Fatim, Coimbra, Nazaré, figueira da foz, and even to Lisbon and Porto do easy. It's a great base to explore Portugal.
