Waterfront vacation rentals in Nazaré

Local host was very supportive, the apartment is Brand new with private parking what is rare in Nazaré. I will definitely stay again and super recommend it ♥️💚💛

Great stay in a very comfortable and well furnished apartment. Right on the south end of Nazaré and one of the few places with on site parking. I especially loved watching the impressive storms coming in from the west and the big swells in the sea. I would definitely stay again!

The 2 bedroom apartment is comfortable and 1 floor up with windows on both sides so there is excellent ventilation. From the living room and main bedroom you have a nice view of a small square and the Atlantic ocean. Lots of restaurants, a nice coffee shop nearby and a very walkable waterfront. I was afraid it would be noisy but most activities end around 22:00 so it was quiet when it mattered. Overall a good stay.

This is a very modern and new apartment in a complex above the newer section of Nazare town. It was very clean and had all amenities as described, including washing machine. The location provides views over the town and due to that, is located about a 15-20 minute walk to many locations and restaurants in town. It is also a rather steep walk and access to the building, so this should be taken into account if one doesn’t have a car or a mobility impairment. There is a taxi stand in Nazare outside the main market and Uber too.

Dário is a great host, always responsive and takes care of you! The apartment is directly opposite to the beach, good restaurants are around the corner and the rooftop is the perfect place during the evenings or for tanning. The place is well equipped but has three levels, therefore it’s not recommend for people with walking issues. All amenities are available. We will come back!

The Magic House. What an exquisite experience with warm and generous people in a truly magical place. I have stayed in many rentals, but my stay here tops everything. From the moment of my inquiry, Vito, Fatima, and Vera met my every communication with kindness and a sense of hospitality that defies expectations. Fatima met me and left me to bask in the wonder of the apartment and its calm sea view, its cozy spots to curl up and relax, including an outdoor porch and an airy loft with window seat. The apartment sparkled. Throughout my stay, Vito and Fatima checked in to make sure everything was going well; they invited me for coffee and let me know when events were happening in the village. They shared their home, but during my seven day stay, it felt my own. A wonderful retreat or a cheerful and inviting place for family to stay in the heart of Nazare, steps from the beach, restaurants, groceries, and surf. A treasure in every way. I feel fortunate.

This place is absolutely amazing! One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Amenities were great, location and parking was excellent! If you have a car and are visiting Nazare with your group/family, this is a perfect Airbnb. Host was always communicative and helpful. Looking forward to visiting here again next time I visit Portugal.

We loved our stay at this beautiful house. It was newly furnished and had everything you need. The location was amazing you could walk to Praia do Norte to see real big waves.

We stayed with Águeda in September 2024. She's an amazing host. Always easy to reach professional handling. House is in good condition. Very well maintained, renovated, very nicely furnished. Within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, shopping opportunities and a fantastic beach. We recommend Águeda as well as her place and say thank you for the nice days.

The accommodation offered gave us easy access to several parts of the city. You can freely walk to all the necessary shops and stroll the heights of the city of Nazare with stunning views of the beach. The large + is the access to the cable car three steps from the house which allows you to get to the water in 3 minutes without having to take the car and open late during the season. Really the place made it easy for us to discover the city and make the most of the activities. For the house itself nothing to say, the linen is clean, the sponge and the microfiber were new and for me it means a lot of hygiene, the very comfortable bedding... Namely, laundry does not dry easily in Nazare but 100m away is a laundromat with dryers and a fast and efficient 8-minute program. Here you can go there without second thought, for us next visit to Nazare we will come back. Thanks to the hosts!

This place was epic — absolutely blew us away. Perched on the cliff in Sítio above Nazaré, it’s steps from the funicular, North Beach, and that legendary surf break. The view? Unreal. Ocean, cliffs, crashing waves — you’ll feel like Poseidon on vacation. The house was super comfortable, stylish, and had everything we needed. Coffee on the balcony watching the waves... we could’ve stayed forever. If you want dramatic views and a chill, no-regrets stay — book this place. Just do it.

The pictures of this home don't do justice to how beautiful it is. We had plenty of everything we needed and I really enjoyed having an ocean view from my bedroom - a lot!! Sunset was beautiful too. The home was spotless and we very much felt at home. We came here to get some beach time and be as close to Fatima as possible and then we discovered the history of Nazare and the big waves. That was extremely cool and a nice surprise!

A super cozy apartment with everything you needed. Super comfortable and clean and with a privileged view of the pool and the beach. The pool is large, with a slope for adults and children, it is just a pity that there is no green area to spread out a towel or more lounge chairs. The owner Elena is very accessible and gives all the useful information for the apartment. I really liked it!!! I highly recommend without a doubt!!!

Nice house, lots of space, everything we needed… the pool and fire pit were so fun and turned it from just a place to sleep into an attraction of its own! Would definitely come back

The location of the place is great. The view of the sea, the pool and the accommodation itself convinced us that we would like to come back. We had 3 wonderful days.

This was a lovely stay, at Casal do Varatojo. Sara and the whole family were wonderful. We enjoyed a yoga class, and my daughter loved the surroundings, Fátima, the pool, the friendship with Camila, everything really. The blackout happened during our stay, and I'll never forget how they were so proactive in providing information and all that was needed to make our lives easier. Thank you for everything!

What's expected from a beach lodge! Everything works and beach very close by. Ricarda always close and ready to resolve any issues that may arise.

We had a wonderful week, the hosts recommended walks, markets, Portuguese cuisine etc… The house overlooks the ocean and has a beautiful walk down to the beach. If you like to walk or relax, this house is for you The weather is cool, it's difficult to swim due to the strength of the ocean and the water temperature, but the pool is glorious. I recommend Óvidos, Coimbra, Baleal, Nazaré, Caldas (ceramics) and the Pataias market where you can buy cheeses, fruits, vegetables and even towels ... Thanks to Antonio for his closeness and resolution. We'll be back, it's paradise !!!
