Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Here you will find tranquility, the forest and nature right at your doorstep and here you have the opportunity to stay about 10 meters from the water and the Göta Canal. A totally unique location for swimming, sun (hopefully), resting and opportunities for beautiful nature. Watch the boats pass just outside your window. - Small but well-equipped kitchen. - 3 separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with a single bed. - Extra sofa bed in the living room. - Newly installed air/air pump ensures an even temperature indoors. - TV with Fiber connection.

Lovely house in the countryside

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all the amenities of our time but with saved details from the past. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's attractions are within walking distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are allergic to fur.

The main cabin is 35 sqm and has a double bed and there is a sofa bed. Working fireplace and seating for 4 + high chair inside. Fully-equipped kitchen with potable running water and small dishwasher. You can borrow a crib. Glazed terrace with room for about 6 people. Hygiene area with shower, toilet and washing machine. Wood-fired sauna. Shed with room for 3 people

Amazing view to lake Unden, the largest fresh water lake in Tived. Fantastic to swim in when it's warm in the summer. Amazing sunsets and a very peaceful atmosphere. Romantic. The area straight down from the cabin by the water doesn't belong to the property but welcomes respectful visitors.

This cozy cottage is located in Undenäs, on the edge of a little holiday park. From the house you have a beautiful view of the area and you can walk into the forest for a lovely walk. Do not forget to walk along the viewpoint and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage is close to the National Nature Park Tiveden, where you can enjoy beautiful walks. Or visit in Karlsborg the fortress, minigolf, the Göta Canal or Forsvik Bruk where you can see 600 years of Swedish industrial history.

Simsjön is a scenic and peaceful spot, perfect for escaping everyday stress and spending quality time together. You can borrow your own boat to explore the lake and enjoy fishing 🎣🌿

This cozy cottage is perfect for you who appreciate being in nature, hiking along beautiful hiking trails, fishing and perhaps a morning swim from the private jetty. Borrow our plastic boat for a fishing trip on the lake or walk along the paths and fish from shore. The cottage is a perfect starting point for excursions to, among other things, our fantastic Tiveden National Park, Karlsborg Fortress or experience the Göta Canal locks in Forsvik. We offer top quality wifi!

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful space. Throw some firewood into the hot tub and sauna after a long hike and relax. There are 2 charcoal grills. - Djäknesundet (swimming area) 10 minutes away by car. -Tiveden National Park 30 minutes -Stud carpet on the property. -Communal water & sewage. - Cleaning is not included - do you clean before departure. -Can arrange cleaning for a surcharge of SEK 1000. -If you do not clean up after yourself, it costs SEK 1500.

The gem of Norra Vätättern

On a ridge overlooking the beautiful archipelago of northern Vättern lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inclusions. Here, a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature, yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small town of Askersund. Tiveden National Park is close to Harjebaden's long sandy beach. The house was ready in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.
