The suite is a newly renovated, tastefully decorated, one bedroom basement suite, in a 1927 character home. Complete with all modern appliances, as well as some antiques added to enhance its charm. The ceiling is 6 '4" ( 1.93M) so if you play basketball this may not be a good match for you. Very centrally located on a quiet street, 2 blocks from the seawall and marina, walking distance to DT shopping, restaurants, pubs, Art Gallery, Port Theater, etc. 1 block to bus stop, 2 min. drive to ferry.

1 Bedroom suite with 2 double beds, a full kitchen, living room with a 40 inch TV and a dinnihg table. A washer and dryer and a full 3 piece washroom is in the suite. EV charger available for additional charge. The location is in south Nanaimo. We are a 15 minute drive from downtown and the Airport, 10 minutes from Duke Point and about 10 minutes from VIU. Nanaimo River Park is a short drive away. Cedar is 10 minutes away. There is transit near by with a walk from the bus stop.

A really nice house with good taste of renovation. Wonderful view and private location. A good place for family vacation.

Kevin and Patrick are extremely gracious and very responsive hosts. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful relaxing getaway!

Meg's yurts are truly unique and beautiful. Everything has been designed with great attention to detail, both inside and out. Lying in bed and feeling like you're in the forest is really wonderful, and the woody scent adds to the experience. We slept wonderfully! Meg was very warm and helpful. We felt very comfortable and would come back again! :)

Luxury Penthouse with a view in Downtown Nanaimo

I am very satisfied with this place on so many levels. This was my first-time on the island, so I didn’t know how this was going to land. But the place went well above my expectations. First and foremost, the host was super-responsive and drama-free. The place is an actual penthouse floor of a commercial building. But when you get in, it’s breathtakingly nice, with wooden floors across the entire place, thoughtfully furnished dining/living room, giving the impression the owner had a good sense of taste and cared about the living space. The kitchen is also well stocked to the point where, although we ate out most times, we felt comfortable to grocery shop and cook a full breakfast and 2-course dinner for the entire family. I cannot forget to mention how close we were to the various parks, including one within walking distance (Maffeo Sutton). The money shot for us was the short drive to the Nanaimo River National Park, an amazing experience swimming there with the locals. Awesome!
