Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Namibia

Spacious accommodation close to amenities and the beach. The washing machine and tumble dryer greatly assisted for our 6 night stay. The lock up garage provided peace of mind regarding our hired vehicle. The local knowledge provided was invaluable and thank you.

We had an amazing and relaxing time at Johanna and Henk’s ! Very quiet, confortable and beautiful ! Everything you need was there, we even stayed one more night ! Thank you so much again for everything ♥️

Wir haben dort eine Nacht verbracht und hatten eine wirklich wunderbare Zeit. Das Haus selbst war einfach perfekt für uns. Es war sauber, gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Die Küche hatte alles, was wir brauchten, und wir konnten problemlos unsere Mahlzeiten zubereiten. Der Wohnbereich war ebenfalls sehr einladend, und wir haben dort viel Zeit damit verbracht, uns zu entspannen und die schöne Umgebung zu genießen. Die Lage des Hauses war ebenfalls ideal. Es war ruhig und friedlich, aber dennoch in der Nähe von allem, was wir brauchten. Wir konnten leicht die Gegend erkunden und hatten einen tollen Spaziergang durch die Natur. Es war wirklich der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für unsere kleinen Abenteuer. Was jedoch wirklich herausragend war, war die Gastfreundschaft. Sie waren so freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben wirklich dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wie zu Hause fühlten. Wir danken Ihnen nochmals für alles!

The home was clean spacious and full of amenities beyond our expectations. The attention to detail in the decor was exceptional and the house is clearly a home away from home. We were humbled to have been welcomed into such a warm space. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping the beach a few meters away was a memorable treat that would be hard to forget. Would go back anytime!

Thank you Whitney for your beautiful and clean house. We felt at home immediately. We wanted peace and quiet to get away from the busy city life and Whitney's house had it all. We appreciated the clean linen and equipped kitchen. There was also a personal touch with a welcome water, milk, butter, tea, coffee and sugar. Can recommend Aloe Haus any time.

The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout my visit. The check-in process was smooth, and the place was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and well-equipped. I really appreciated the local tips and quick communication. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others! The place is really beautiful and perfect for short or long stay.

Kirsten, was a great host! Check-in was simple and the house was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. There was a washer and dryer in the unit, and best of all, the property had an amazing view of the Ocean! This was a great find and a no-brainer if you are looking for a nice place to stay when visiting Swakop and Walvis Bay.

Great Place! Great People! I really enjoyed my stay. Good communication and very focused on solving every little problem or request. Appreciate it. Would stay again! Only room for improvement is Internet for Voice Calls, which can be a challange sometimes (not always).

Our stay was everything we needed and more! The flat was beautifully designed and equipped with everything you need to feel right at home. Rebecca and Joel were the most amazing hosts - flexible, excellent communicators, and proactive in making sure we were comfortable (for example, offering to drop off extra blankets when the weather got colder). The location lends itself to a peaceful stay, but you aren’t far from the action (eg. Restaurants, cafes, tourist sites, malls, walking trails, etc.) if/when you need it. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Mary’s place was lovely. It was warm and homey and close to most places Mary recommended such lovely restaurants We highly recommend it and hopefully be back very soon. The skylit roof was everything, the lighting 👌🏿. Would just recommend a full body mirror but thats very minor.

Elsa's place was absolutely ideal for our self catering trip. It is perfectly located between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. The facilities are excellent and exceeded our expectations. Elsa was the perfect host. She was fruendly, communicated extremely well, provided excellent recommendations and was super responsive. We really appreciated that. Her place offers very safe secure lock-up parking and is generally very secure. We felt very safe. The facility is on the ground floor and is right on the Langstrand beach. We loved staying here and reccommend it highly.

My family stayed for 5 months in the apartment and couldn't have been happier. The apartment had all the essential amenities, WiFi was fast and stable, and the property is secure and never had any safety concerns. The location is perfect....5 minutes to the Maerua mall for shopping and food and the gym. A couple minutes drive to downtown and very quiet. The outdoor and braii space was utilized on a regular basis. These apartments are a great price with a fantastic owner and will definitely stay there again on our next adventure to Windhoek!

A great place to stay in Windhoek. very comfortable, had all the amenities a traveller might need, well located and priced. Owners were great to deal with and very accommodating.

Eugene’s place is perfect for exploring Swakopmund. It is two blocks from the ocean with a cafe nearby, grocery store and the main part of town all walkable. The apartment is good-sized with two bedrooms, large kitchen with all the amenities you could want and living room. Very comfortable and secure. Eugene was so easy to communicate with and gave lots of good advice on things to do and places to eat. There are several hotels nearby that are comparable or cheaper in price but we liked the big living space and the washer / dryer to do laundry. Perfect when you have been on the road for awhile!

Staying at Anna’s place was an absolute dream! From the moment I booked, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. Awesome place with a huge yard - perfect for the dogs. The flat was beautifully fitted out and we felt right at home. Fenya had thoughtfully provided drinks, firewood and treats and a water bowl for the dogs. We will definitely be coming back!
