Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a 'donkey' water heater and solar power.

Leopard Cottage, Small Warehouse Farm

Klein Pakhuis Farm is both a Cederberg Karoo farm and a nature conservancy. It extends up the eastern slopes of the Cederberg Mountains where it shares a fence-free boundary with the protected Cederberg Wilderness Area. The farm is blessed with pure natural spring water; blue-sky days; clear starry nights and utter silence. Varied wildlife thrives under the conservancy ethos of the farm, including Verreaux's Eagle, Rheebok, Grysbok, Aardvark, Caracal, and the elusive Cape Leopard.

The Fynbos reserve is a botanists paradise with a wide variety of unique plants spread across the property. Once an original general store, it’s been lovingly restored with antique furnishings and true Karoo character (although some say it feels like Greece).
