After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. I don't get to meet other people. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. In the bathroom, you can enjoy a JAXSON jet bath, a large sauna for 4 people that can be used at the same time, and a rain shower in the bath. Please note that in a natural environment, insects may occur indoors during your stay, as we are renovating an old villa. If you have an excessive allergy to insects, please refrain from booking.

Built in the late Edo period, when the Shogunate was reigning, this house was used as a silk mill in the 19th century. Surrounded by lush nature, the house nests in a region with deep forests and hot springs. One of the nearby hot springs is Kusatsu which is one of the most famous in Japan, where the Shogun came to rest, and became a model for the ghibli film “Spirited Away”.
