Our stay at this property was exceptional. Norbert, the host, is kind, welcoming, and very responsive. He takes great care of his property, making sure everything is in perfect condition. The five rooms were exactly as described—spacious, clean, and ideal for our family. Having a washing machine was a huge bonus, especially with children, as it allowed us to keep up with laundry during our stay. Norbert also rented us his car for the two weeks, which was incredibly handy. The car was clean, spacious, and fit our family perfectly, making it easy to explore the area. The fast and reliable internet connection was another highlight, helping the kids stay on top of their homework and allowing us to stream and stay connected without issues. The property felt very secure, with CCTV and two lovely German Shepherd dogs that we adored. Abdul, the caretaker, was incredibly helpful, always available to assist us, even late at night. His kindness made our stay even more comfortable.

Pendo's facility was so beautiful and restful. One gets the sense of security; ease of access and the serenity from nature in the surrounding area. Pendo's airbnb facility is highly recoomended. To top it all, Pendo is a proactive, friendly, responsive hostess. We would happily recommend this facility to both local and international travellers. Thank you.

My team and I (one American and three Kenyans) had a great stay at Jimmy's lovely house. Pros – The hospitality: Jimmy was very kind and helpful as a host, and Tony, the young man who tends to the house, was wonderfully sweet and went out of his way to help us. The place: With three bedrooms (including one master, ensuite), the house was spacious and very comfortable. It was cool thanks to the breeze, and had nice views of the surrounding hillsides. The area was quiet and we felt very secure, including when walking with Tony to get vegetables, and to sample a Rolex, at 9 pm. Cons – Getting to and from the house: Unless/until you feel comfortable walking 10-15 minutes to the Freedom City mall, your only option for transport will be taxis. The place is not on a map, but rather is several minutes and multiple turns up a hilly dirt road, surrounded by other nice but unlabled houses. To his credit, Jimmy was very helpful in arranging the drivers for us, even at late hours – this was necessary, since we could not have explained how to get to the house. However, in three days we spent $92 on taxis. Wifi: I had hoped to use Uber, but the second downside to the house was the wifi, which was limited and unreliable, despite Jimmy’s efforts. It hadn’t been set up the first day, so he came out the second day to do so, but it ran out of credit in 10 minutes. He topped it up, but even then the connection was very weak until midnight. Conclusion – Not the best place for a working trip, but lovely for a relaxing stay. You may be a bit disconnected, but you will be well cared-for. Just be sure to factor in the cost of transportation!

We had another great stay with Susan and John. Susan is a nice and extremely helpful woman, doing everything she can to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The house is great so all in all it is a lovely place to stay, the only downside is that the nearby Miracle Center Cathedral is rather noisy during the evening, but when the renovation of the church is finished later this year, this will stop. We are looking forward to coming back

At Elizabeth’s apartment you’re gonna find a home away from yours. Security first off is great; with a day watch person and a night security team. The perimeter wall surrounding the premises appears top notch too. I personally never once worried for my safety, unlike previous times I’ve lived elsewhere in Kampala. The road close by is being used as a detour by several suburb residents, so expect a little noise during rush hour times. Besides that little noise there is pure serenity in house and outside, in the gardens south of the premises. The staff is ever attentive, so helpful, always smiling regardless time of the day, and most importantly so respectful. Even on cleaning days they worked on our schedule and never intruded in our space. The a/c was a little hard to work initially, but Elizabeth gave us instructions and it was smooth sailing afterwards. Observe the solar energy guidelines provided in the apartment and use the power meaningfully. Overall, this is a place i came to love and call home. Everything is as advertised, except that neon shower: that’s way better in reality than in the pictures. I would definitely recommend and also stay here again when in Kampala. Thank you Elizabeth.

Spent a fantastic three weeks in this apartment which I shared with my cousin - felt right at home! The rooms were nice and spacious only downside was that one of the bedrooms ( my room) was located outside the front door. Nonetheless the facility is located in a nice secure area so I soon realised that there was nothing to worry about. Both Violet ( host) and Kalist (helper) were wonderful and were always available to answer all our questions. The apartment itself was lovely and was as described - matched up to the pictures. In terms of location, Ntinda is a great area to stay in Kampala. It is safe and near the city centre making access to facilities very easy; from supermarkets to transport to bars and night clubs. Thanks Violet for a lovely stay I will definitely be coming back !

It was a joy for me and my partner to stay at Jenny's place. The location was calming and peaceful; a good getaway from the hustle and bustle of Kampala. The bnb is located 15min from Bule Landingsight where we docked with a boat organised for us by Jenny. The boda boda ride to the tucked-away sanctuary was just as scenic as the journey on Lake Victoria. We specifically enjoyed the privacy of the bnb including how quiet it was and the outside kitchen with all amenities. The birds and other interesting wildlife spotted on the property were an extra perk for me. The staff was helpful, discrete and dedicated to helping us have a good time. We will certainly be back in future.

Ray’s place is great! We rented it for one person during a two week period of recovery following on from an operation, and it was the perfect place for this purpose. The home is very comfortable and peaceful, so you can properly rest there. Being able to watch movies projected onto the wall was great, and we were helped with setting that up (the guest pays for the connection - I think it was 80,000 UGS which lasts a month). The people around were all friendly and helpful. We would love to return to Ray’s place, and would definitely recommend it as a very clean, comfortable and quiet place, which is also great value for money. Many thanks Ray!

This house is a gem and can’t see myself staying anywhere else when in the country. The host is professional, flexible, understanding and enlightened. The location was spot on for us - away from the chaos of the city without being remote. The caretakers were just priceless to say the least. In short, I can’t state enough how beautiful this place is. And, so many more good things to say like the space, compound, security, aesthetics, price/ value, furnishing, ambience, etc. Except the connecting road from the main road, I can barely think of any faults at this point.

Absolutely charming cottage with access to a stunning garden and pool. The serene and cozy atmosphere was ideal for our work trip to Kampala. We loved the adorable bunnies and the friendly, well-behaved dog. Shane and his wife are incredibly kind hosts. This is definitely the place to find some zen moments amidst the hustle and bustle of Kampala.

Our Stay at Bon bini was absolutely wonderful, because Bridget was so welcoming and the place is very secure, especially when one has children. Never at any moment did we feel unsafe. Bridget or some one else checked on us from time to time to make sure everything was as it should be. We felt at home, the place was very clean and it was cleaned every day and the linen were changed as well. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I even recommended the place to two Of my friends that stayed at the Bon bini while we stayed there. All in all it was really nice to spend our holiday at Bon bini. I would highly recommend it for families or if one just needs a little peace and quiet. I will definitely be staying there again. Ps the WiFi is superb too.

I must say I had a brilliant time at NVilla apartments. It's a quiet and homely place. The neighborhood has lots of modern and high-end properties. It feels really secure and has a full-time gateman. The rooms are Spacious and comfortable. Colin my host was very hospitable and quick whenever I needed him. The apartments are at the top of Mutungo hill and the view from the roof terrace is absolutely stunning. I had the swimming pool to myself most of the times- just the way I like it I definitely got more than I paid for. My stay there was really short though, but I'll BE BACK

Perfect location for a conference at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort. Jones is very helpful and ready to help. Gave us a brief of the buganda kingdom, he graciously requested his driver to drop me at the resort on the first day. My friend came to see the place and loved it as well she took the spare room. I'd definitely recommend.

The management are every flexible. We started out getting upgraded to a better room. We were asked about improvements by management and we came up with a few and it was immediately implemented.

Francis and Pamela never disappoint. We’ve stayed here many times and always have a great experience. It’s close to excellent restaurants and groceries. Nicely located between Entebbe and Kampala. Close access to most areas. Strongly recommend this place - except for when I want it. Ha.

A beatiful private cottage at the Kabira Country Club! What more could you ask for?
