Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nags Head Island

This house was perfect for our family and really close to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and then some. Most of all we loved how close it was to the beach!

We love staying at Donald’s Duck! This was our second stay and we think this place is just so cute and cozy. Our favorite place is the beautifully lit pool area. It’s a short walk to the beach. The indoor space is beautiful and clean. Mark is a very responsive and helpful host! We love the proximity to the shops and restaurants.

My family and I loved the house and had a great vacation. Beach access was very close to the house and the hot tub was a great added feature.

This was a perfect place for a large family to stay. The location is perfect as it's walkable to private beach where there is hardly any crowd. There are various restaurants within a mile of this location and everything was available for a great time.

We enjoyed our stay at Brad's house. The proximity to the beach with handicap parking was perfect for my sister who is currently disabled. The house was clean and comfortable and we also enjoyed the hot tub and pool.

Our family spent a wonderful week at Pebblebeach for our first time on the Outer Banks. We found the home to be the perfect size for the family. The location was terrific, access to the beach very convenient, and lots of places to shop and eat! Communication throughout the booking process was great! I was also lucky that the home has an elevator as I injured my knee a few days before vacation. This was a super place to spend the week.

We had the best time here, its exactly like the pictures and the host goes above and beyond with recommendations/ items provided and cleanliness!

Lisa was very accommodating during our stay and was able to get the pool open for us to use!! Thanks so much, the house is very large and there is plenty of space to spread out.

The place was perfect for us. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. It’s about ~2 miles from the shops of Duck. The beach is less than five minutes walk—our dog loved it. We had a great time! The hosts were very responsive and check in and check out were a breeze.

Great house with a huge fenced in backyard. Close to the beaches and nature preserve. Amanda was great.

Several areas on property to gather and dine, but also many areas to read quietly away from the group Plentiful kitchen supplies, very well outfitted with silverware and dinnerware Jorge answered all our questions quickly and accurately We hope to return to this area and will plan to stay again

The place was great and so was Terra! Our only regret was my bf got hurt on the beach running so we had to cut our trip short. VERY easy walk to the beach from the house no drive necessary. Great if you’re a beach bum like we are 🤗

My friends and I enjoyed our entire stay at Debra's place, we had everything that we needed! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils making it easy for us to cook, and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. When we arrived, there was a plate of (incredible) cookies waiting for us, which made us feel very welcomed and started our trip off on the right foot. Be sure to consider Debra's place when looking in OBX!

Grouper Therapy is conveniently located - walkable to beach, sound, restaurants/stores in Duck, and neighborhood pool. The house had a floor plan with 3 King bedrooms + 1 more that worked perfectly for our family. The kitchen was well appointed - provides everything you need if you want to cook in. We appreciated all the extras provided - high chair, beach chairs, carts, tv in every bedroom. Our family really enjoyed our week in Duck.

This is was truly a very nice experience , you won’t forget it. What a beautiful spot. Gia is such an amazing host and extremely responsive .

George was a wonderful host and the house is in a great location.

The place was exactly what we were looking for. We were in town for the Jazz Fest which was across the street, so it was perfect. The beach was a little bit of a walk, but wasn't the primary reason for our visit so it was fine. The place is really cute and comfortable.

Beautiful home, super clean, comfortable beds, plenty of extras like soap, garbage bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, towels, cookware, seasonings ect. Kati was an awesome host and was very attentive and responsive. The pool was fabulous and we spent a lot of time there. We wish check out was a little later and suggest doing extras as if it were your own such as throw in some towels, make sure the beds and pillowcases are stripped, take out the trash, run the dishwasher and just leave it as much as you can as it was when you arrived. We loved this place and will certainly use Kati again. She is a super host for sure!! Thank you Kati!

Sue’s house was perfect for our family of 10! A 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach. A fabulous pool for all of us to enjoy. A lovely decorated home with plenty of bedrooms and new bathrooms. Loved the outdoor showers. Well equipped kitchen for all our meals. And a porch to watch magnificent sunsets at night! Sue was quick to answer all my questions.

Great stay at the beach. We loved sitting on the deck with coffee! Kitchen was well stocked. Great location to the boardwalk, beach and pool.
