This inn, "Daimae", is located in a temple complex to the east of the Takayama Basin. If you go up the stairs along the mossy stone wall from the road, you will be greeted by a protruding pine tree. When you open the lattice doors, you can see a Japanese garden on the right that seems to have been built over 100 years ago.
