Here you can start your mountain tour right outside the door, both in summer and winter. From the cabin it is 4 km to the car park at Spranget, and from there it is approx. 7 km to the DNT cabin Rondvassbu, the heart of Rondane. If you want to combine the mountain tour with a day of rafting in Sjoa, it is only a 30-minute drive from the cabin. The cabin can also be a base for those who like to fish in Lågen or in some of the many mountain waters in Rondane. From the "whiskey bench" or barbecue area at the cabin you have a lovely view of Jotunheimen to the west and Svinslåberget to the south. In the center of Otta you will find many grocery stores, restaurants and shops. The center of Otta is about a 20-minute drive from the cabin. Should you feel like being served a meal on the mountain, you can get it at Rondane Fjellstue, which is about 500 meters from the cabin. During the school holidays, there is also a small grocery store and a cafe in the center of Mysusæter 600 meters from the cabin. Opening times depend on the season, so check in advance if it is open, we recommend shopping at Otta. There is a road all the way through summer and winter. Parking is in a designated space 30 meters from the cabin. In winter, the road to the cabin is plowed on Fridays and Sundays, from 1 December until after Easter. It is also plowed during the Christmas holidays, New Year, winter holidays and Easter. If you arrive on a weekday and it has snowed since the last plowing, you can park for a fee in the car park at Mysusæter, and walk about 600 meters to the cabin. If the road is not open, transport by scooter can be ordered in advance from the Mysusæter service centre. The cabin has installed water, sewage and electricity. The cabin is partially heated all year round with heating cables in the bathroom and a panel oven in the living room. The cabin has a soapstone fireplace and a wood-burning stove, and we make sure it's wood available. In the main cabin, there are no separate bedrooms, but two sleeping alcoves. The alcoves are divided into a double bed alcove and in the other alcove there is a bunk bed. In addition, there is an annex with a family bunk with room for three. Bed linen/towels must be brought. Washing must be done by the guests. Smoking not allowed. Animals are most welcome, but not in the beds. There is running water in the bathroom, in the kitchen there is only a sink. From the parking lot, there is a small hill of about 20 meters to the cabin, manageable for everyone in normal condition, but if you have difficulty walking, you might need help. Guests must clean the cabin themselves, and there is a detailed description of how the cleaning should be done, so expect that this will take some time

GUESTS MUST CLEAN THE ENTIRE APARTMENT BEFORE DEPARTURE. - To maintain a good standard of cleanliness, a cleaning checklist has been provided, which guests must follow upon checkout. - Please be aware that the quality of cleaning may vary, as the previous guests were responsible for cleaning before your arrival. - A thorough cleaning is conducted regularly by my cleaning team to ensure a better standard, but not after every guest. - If you do not wish to clean the apartment yourself, you have the option to order cleaning for 1200 NOK. Must be booked at least 48 hours before departure.

Great for family, group (up to 5-6 persons) or business trip. Easy access, 15 minute drive from Otta town. Parking on property with EV-charging. Hiking trails and ski trails start as you walk out the door and Rondane National Park is a 15minute drive away.

Hytteidyll ved Furusjøen

Gjestehytte med innlagt strøm og varmt og kaldt vann ved Furusjøen, Kvamsfjellet. Hytta ligger i umiddelbar nærhet til både turstier, skiløyper og innsjø. Den ligger på et tun med en annen hytte som eier disponerer selv. Det er bilvei helt til døra, også på vinterstid. Hytta har en åpen løsning med kjøkken, stue og dobbeltseng. Det er eget bad med dusj. Oppvarming via strøm og/eller vedfyrt ovn. Det er tilgang til ved på stede. El-bil lader Robåt kan disponeres etter avtale med eier.

Mountain cabin next to Rondane National Park

Simple and charming mountain cabin located at the tree line, 1000 meters above sea level. It is only one kilometer from the national park, and it is five kilometers to walk to the Peer Gynt cabin. The cabin has neither running water nor electricity, but it has solar power, which is generally sufficient for charging phones and using lamps. Water is fetched from the stream behind the cabin. There is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding next to the cabin. The cabin is heated with firewood.

Fantastisk utsikt! Familiehytte på Kvamsfjellet med mange muligheter. Opplevelser, turer, ski, sykkel, fiske, gåtur, trivsel og rekreasjon. Her kan du kose deg, ute og inne. Hytta er liten, intim og hjemmekoselig. Ute er det fine uteplasser, på fremsiden, og ned mot sjøen er det bygget en veranda.. Det er flott turterreng alle årstider. Skigard. 2 kajakker og robåt kan brukes, på eget ansvar. Leietaker har ansvar for å holde orden i og rundt hytta. Hytta forlates som du fant den.

Hytte ved Rondane nasjonalpark.

Sjarmerende hytte helt i nærheten av Rondane nasjonalpark. På hytta kan vi friste med peiskos og nydelig utsikt samt bordtennisbord i kjelleren og stor boltreplass ute i skogen utenfor for de små. Fine turmuligheter både sommer og vinter. Ellers består hytta av et stort bad med skifergulv, dobbel vask, dusj, toalett og vaskemaskin, et romslig kjøkken og spisestue samt en stue med sofa og TV. Det er også veranda og bålplass. Det er bilvei helt inn til døra, også om vinteren.

The spacious cabin, with a grand view towards Rondane mountains and 3 separate bedrooms is centrally placed in Mysusæter- This is an entire appartment in a grand cabin in Mysusæter. The upper appartment will be closed off but it will not be occupied when the lower apartment is rented. The cabin is relatively close to the Rondane National park with easy access to hikes, both easy and more or less challenging.

Kort tur til Ranglarhø for nydelig utsikt, fossen Brudesløret, gå/sykle/kjøre til Spranget og langtur til Rondvassbu og/eller toppturer (over 2000 meter).
