This place is called Kara Pond. It is situated near the Mukungwa River, on the road from Kigali to Musanze, about four kilometers from the city center. Kara Pond is a very quiet place surrounded by lots of nature, with numerous birds, a fish pond and beautiful plants. It looks like a small forest area – a unique oasis in the immediate vicinity of the Mukungwa River.
