Tia was an amazing host and the house and plot is incredible. The price was wildly affordable for what it is - a very secluded house on roughly a 2 acre plot that extends into a peninsula. 270 degree view of the lake from the yard. There is a nice private dock, although it is very off balance at the end so be careful (especially if you’ve been drinking). The lake itself has very clean greenish blue water - not that muddy brown we’re used to around Atlanta. The water off the end of the dock was deep on Memorial Day, we were able to dive off in any direction and could not touch the bottom anywhere. It was cloudy so the water was a little cold, but still refreshing to jump in after laying on the dock for a while. The only thing I couldn’t figure out is where the creek is that is shown in one of the photos. I wanted to walk my dog in the creek but couldn’t see it through the trees and didn’t see an obvious path leading anywhere. Mountain Views are magnificent, 10/10 highly recommend!

We had a wonderful family time at Parker’s cabin. Has everything you may need to enjoy your time in the secluded woods of NC. Very private but with all the amenities you may need. Internet was good and the place very comfortable. It was quite rainy during our stay but we had no issues staying in and enjoying the hot tub from time to time. Would fully recommend this place to any one. Thank you Parker!

Perfect getaway for our anniversary. The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub did not disappoint. I really liked that the cabin had coffee, creamer, cooking spices, and even popcorn. Blue Ridge has so many things to do. The train ride was pretty cool.

My husband and I and our two dogs came in for a quiet weekend for me to study and just chill. It was absolutely perfect. It’s just a cute cozy little cabin! The stairs going upstairs to the bedrooms are steep, but we had no issue with them. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. We drove into Helen, which was about a hour drive due to the windy roads but very doable. Alex was great and check-in was easy. If you’re looking for a romantic getaway, this is it!

The view is absolutely beautiful!!! My family enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was clean, airy, natural and the living room view was stunning! The beds were comfortable and we loved the downstairs space with the huge tv. We had a fun movie night hanging out downstairs. Our time there was peaceful and our children didn’t want to leave! Chelsea was responsive, friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

We wanna thank the host for opening up their AirBnb! Our family absolutely loved our visit and all the home had to offer. From our family enjoying the game room, shooting pool, to the relaxing hot tub, to the amazing balcony view with all God's beautiful masterpieces, and to enjoy watching the deer run wild from the round about balcony! Don't forget to visit all the wonderful waterfalls, Fall Branch Fall, Leatherwood Falls, and then Vogel State Park, to Meeks Park ll! Ended our visit with a drive thru the Smokey Mountains from Cherokee, NC to Gatlinburg, Tenn. Definitely memories in the making we will all treasure a lifetime! Only downfall was one of our guest left their keys, but we are hopeful they will be found. Be sure to check b4 you leave behind each other! Don't be in so much of a rush in life you forget the little things, or miss out on wonderful memories with your family and loved ones! Don't forget US Vet Thrift Store in Murphy, NC they pay tribute to our military!!!

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

Amazing view, comfy beds, great location!! Secluded feel but the grocery store and much more is a short drive away. Honestly I could’ve sat on the back porch and looked at the mountains and river all day. The pool was a nice spot, well done little area. My daughter enjoyed the little playground. Happy we booked this place!

This cabin is a must stay! Lots of privacy, beautiful scenery, and a great place to escape. Brad provided a wealth of information to make our stay easy and enjoyable. And the pie! Such a treat. Will be staying here again.

An excellent spot for enjoying the Nantahala National Forest, as well as having ample room and accomodations for guests and vehicles.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and fishing along the river. The kids toys and games were a nice addition. Nicki was very friendly and responsive. We’d love to stay here again next year!

This place is phenomenal! Even with bad weather there were a ton of games and enough space to be warm and cozy. We have so much fun inside and out. North Georgia has beautiful places to visit and, if you like stones and crystals, fun places to do simple mining. The house is wonderful, very clean, well equipped, just bring your food. Corey, the host, is great communicator and always responds my messages quick. This was our 2nd time and we are planing the return.

Tree Oasis!! Bird Dog Lodge is perfect for a getaway. Very clean and great when traveling with pets. Bobby is super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here! We’ll definitely be back!

What a sweet AirBnb right on the Cooswattee River. Rachel our hostess was just awesome. Proactively making sure, if we were doing good. Loved the log cabin feel. Super clean rooms. Since we were only 2 people, we never used the upstairs. What I also loved was each room had extra electrical extensions which I never experienced in other Airbnb. The owners had kayaks & tubes for us to use but out of the 3 nights, we had only 1 afternoon of sun. It was crazy rain for the rest of the days but we loved the way the river raged. Loved the hot tub. Best of all we heard and saw nature from the bathtub. Deers, geese & ducklings walk past the windows & hot tubs. We also saw groundhogs to & from the cabin. To hear the peace, quietness of nature is irreplaceable. We are grateful to our host for allowing us to stay. We will be visiting many more times. Thank you!

The quiet peaceful creekside location is perfect for those looking to have a great place to kick back and relax. It had all the amenities we needed for our family vacation. Jennifer and Danny were so easy to communicate with and were all around exceptional hosts. Beds were comfy, shower was great (the on demand water heater is nice), and washer and dryer and kitchen appliances were all newer and worked flawlessly. hope to come back again soon and stay and enjoy all that the Murphy area has to offer. Tons to do outdoors and lots of great restaurants.

I wish I could keep this place a secret because of how incredibly beautiful and secluded it is. You feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale, and Hal’s unique touches make the place inviting and special all at the same time. Our trip was filled with rainy weather, but there’s something magical about sitting by the tabletop fire pit on the screened in porch while watching the rain and the river flow by. This is the first airbnb I’ve ever stayed where I knew I wanted to come back.

Beautiful and relaxing little place on the river! It was still a bit chilly while we were there but there’s a great little swimming hole that would be refreshing on hot days! We will likely be back!
