(* The BBQ house is unavailable from November to March due to freezing and snow.) Shiraoi-machi, where our hotel is located, is abundant in nature and local ingredients. In particular, Tōjinbahara is famous for its snow crab, Hokkaido crab, shiitake mushrooms, and Shirako beef. There are also places nearby where you can fish for rainbow trout using spring water. ※ We recommend using a car (rental car) as there is not much public transportation in the area. Hokkaido Natural Hot Spring Guest House, this guest house is a detached house with a traditional Japanese garden, fish pond, barbecue house, natural hot springs, and can accommodate up to 8 people. Surrounding ski slopes, forest fishing, seafood markets, Wagyu cattle ranch, etc. will all give you a great travel experience. It is a great value and a different kind of accommodation. Mr. Xiang was very welcoming and took great care of our accommodation trip. Because the transportation near Chensui was not very convenient, Mr. Xiang would provide pick-up and drop-off services, but this required some compensation, the compensation was very low, and more was enthusiasm! When we checked out the next morning, we asked if there were any places to play recently. As a result, there was a festival near Chitose Station. We watched the show and it was very exciting. This undoubtedly brought a new experience to our Hokkaido trip!Thank you very much to Mr. Xiang and his family's lovely children!

Miwa san and her son were super attentive to my needs and questions when I was there, they really treated me with much care, even providing breakfast and shower essentials when I wanted to go to the local bathhouse! The experience staying with them was lovely, they really take this hosting business seriously and aim to do their best for you. I could tell that other guests appreciated their hospitality and felt at home in their place! I hope to stay there again in the future.

A very cool self service accomodation concept, has everything you need for a short stay and for the first time ever i made my own bread as the accomodation had a bread maker and the host provided ingredients for a loaf with full instructions ^_^ Conveniently a few steps from a train stop, so might have some occasional noises from trains but the area was quiet and peaceful nonetheless and near other places of interests!

I can't say enough good things about my 3 nights with Jimmy and Ellie. Right from the start I felt at home when Jimmy picked me up from the station and we did a short detour around the lake so he could show me some sights. They're both so welcoming, I felt like part of the family, and the delicious breakfasts/dinners we had were some of the highlights of the trip. Hana-chan, their Bernese mountain dog, is adorable and we had fun lying around on the couch together. The house is great, it has a ski cabin vibe, I had my own section on the 2nd floor with my own bathroom. Overall the house is a lot more spacious than most places I've been in Japan. It would be easier to access with a car, though I didn't have one and still had a great time. Jimmy offered to drop me off in town so I could rent an electric bike for the day. This place was incredible, 100% worth visiting, as soon as I left I just wanted to come back again.
