My place is easy walking distance to , Muriwai Beach, Maukatia Beach, Muriwai Regional Park, and Muriwai golf course. It is an easy drive up to Woodhill Bike Trails. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and proximity to the beach and forest, the light, the relaxing atmosphere and the comfortable set up. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. (The bath is a sunken bath so take care- a non slip mat is provided.) Muesli also provided.

The Little Louise was fantastic. Jenene was super responsive, friendly and helpful. My partner and I loved every moment during our stay. The house has a stunning view of piha beach and the iconic lions to rock where we spent dawn to dusk in awe. We loved all the attention to detail and cant wait to visit again.

The Blue House - Piha Retreat

This luxurious mountain-top eerie offering spectacular views over Auckland's iconic Piha Beach was the setting for a recent 'Big Chill'-style Easter reunion with old friends. The gorgeous open-plan kitchen, dining and living room provided the focus for the group to reminsice about our youthful exploits at Piha over wine, fine food and chocolate easter eggs. There is sleeping available for eight, though there were only six of us. The house has all the mod-cons, including a beautiful stereo system, featuring creamy-sounding Linn speakers. We spent hours reading and chilling in beautiful designer chairs, or looking out at the panoramic view of Lion Rock. One suggestion is the deck is crying out for built-in barbecue, though I imagine council regulations might prevent that. Also, Piha is (STILL, after 40 years) woefully under-serviced by shops, so make sure you load up on everything (including wine and beer) in Auckland beforehand. A truly memorable weekend.
