Bookeen Hall is a 200 year old restored church about 20 mins from Galway City and within easy reach of the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Connemara. We are a short drive from Lignum (restaurant). We offer a private room (with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed) with a private bathroom. For larger groups there is a second room (with 1 king size bed), so we can accommodate up to 5. The nearest train station is 8 miles away in Athenry. We live here with our dogs and look forward to meeting you!

We are conveniently located to explore fabulous beaches, the Barrow and Nore river valleys, golf courses,horse riding stables and the towns of Wexford, Kilkenny and Waterford.

Situated in the heart of the Burren which is a karst landscape with cliffs, caves, archaeological sites and vast array of flowers and plants. Close proximity to the Michael Cusack Centre, Burren Perfumery, Poulnabrone Dolmen , Caherconnell and Cahercommaun Forts. Some of the most beautiful walks begin in Carron which are mapped out to hike on your own. My home is next to the Cusack Way walk. We are situated in a quiet and secluded private compound minutes from Killarney National Park, Conference and Concert Centre, which also offers family-friendly activities. Pubs and Restaurants are also within easy reach. Our rooms are large and ensuite, we offer unlimited free wifi and free secure car parking. Bus and train stations are also only 10-12 minute walk. Bike rentals, which is the easiest way of exploring the lakes and parks, are situated 5 minutes walk from house.
