Welcome to our old farmhouse, of which a part of the former stable has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly furnished with a lot of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have a private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. AN EXTENSIVE BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one b and b space.

In the area you can completely unwind; come for a nice walk and bike ride. In the village, there is the forest of Ype, and in Burgum, you will find sauna de Leeuwerikhoeve. By bus or car, you can be in Leeuwarden in no time to shop, go to the bios or have a bite to eat. Dokkum is also recommended, or Groningen.

Apartment “Slapen op de Lytse Geast”

At the end of 2023, we converted our cozy B&B into an apartment that is equipped with all comforts. And we speak from experience because during the renovation of our own house, we lived in it ourselves! 🏡 Also check out our website! The accommodation is in a rural location, but also close to Leeuwarden and Dokkum. The perfect base for hiking and cycling. In beautiful Friesland, this beautiful house with great views is located. The Serre is a holiday home behind our house with a nice bright room which borders the large garden. In this garden also stay our dog, the goats (behind a fence) and the chickens and free-range ducks. Great nature reserves in this region invite you to hike and cycle. In addition, Leeuwarden and Dokkum are cozy cities nearby. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the house.

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

A wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Sleeping on the floor of a tea house - Teetún de Hollen -; a whole experience. Downstairs is a large living room with an open kitchen. The tea house is located in a rural area where there is a lot of cycling and hiking. The tea garden is therefore accessible to the guests in the summer months. Small scale, hospitality, accessibility are words that fit our location. Peace and space is what the guests find.
