I was at the university hospital for a treatment and Jonathan's apartment was the perfect base for my family. The clinic is within walking distance. The apartment is very comfortably furnished with many loving details, so you can feel comfortable even during a longer stay. Jonathan is a very attentive and accommodating host who is always available and available for questions. If I need a place to stay in Essen again, I know where. Thank you for everything.

I am so glad i found this amazing place where i spent a month enjoying the sights and sounds. A perfect place to get away from it all but still be in touch with the sights. very easy to get to from the airport, close to Düsseldorf and Cologne. Even better inside than in the pictures. Almut and Guido are so welcoming. there was no washing machine in the house and they installed it very quickly. I really enjoyed living in this house and highly recommend it to everyone.

I have rarely felt as at home as with Bettina and her husband. Very quiet location, both are mega friendly and helpful. Both thumbs up!!! Will definitely be back.

The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of Essen. There are very good shopping facilities (Aldi, Lidl, Rewe), several bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and looks exactly like the photos. We particularly liked the brick wall with the timber frame and the wooden floorboards. There is a balcony to the courtyard and the kitchen is great! Rüdiger is a great host. He greeted us personally, which we found very nice, especially since he had to wait for us. He had a lot of good tips for bike tours and activities in Essen and the surrounding area. Essen is an ideal starting point for excursions in and around the Ruhr area. The musical "Starlight Express," for example, is 25 minutes by car. We really enjoyed the days and would be happy to come back.
