Francesco picked us up from the train station and drove us to our apartment. He walked us through everything in the apartment. He even came back later to assist us to get in when I couldn't work the key. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. The apartment was large, well equipped with good cooking facilities and washing machine. The apartment was a 2 minute walk from the historic city wall and bars and restaurants, great location.

Pierluigi and his wife welcomed us to their lovely cottage. We loved spending time in the small garden as well as on the very nice terrace as well. The kitchen was functional and the bathroom was functional as well. Room spacious enough to place a crib. Pierluigi and his wife inflated a small pool for our baby given the heat of the moment, which our son and we greatly appreciated. They also brought us some shallots from the garden for the kitchen. They are very welcoming hosts that we recommend.

Once you cross the station bridge, you are in the old town of Lucca, with all its beauty, its flair, but also with its tourist character. Then you are looking forward to the tranquility and seclusion of the accommodation. Another advantage is the parking if you arrive by car. The place is charming and spacious for two people. The high ceilings and the room layout are really so well done that you can immediately feel comfortable. The bed was comfortable and a small study is also available. Theoretically, you can even sit outside, but you'd rather do that in Lucca in one of the beautiful squares. Communication with the landlords was always very pleasant and fast. The restaurant tip from the “Da Vasco” guide can definitely be trusted. We would book here again immediately for our next visit to Lucca. Lucca is always worth a trip.

The location in close proximity to the train station is ideal for excursions. The apartment is just great. It is beautifully furnished and has everything you need. Daniele has always offered his help. But since everything was perfect, we didn't need it. If you want to explore Tuscany without a rental car, then this apartment is definitely a top recommendation. This is my third visit to the Lucca area, but my first time to stay inside the city walls. Fabrizio’s apartment is perfect with respect to location, style, and quality. The terrace is such a haven. Any meals we cooked were eaten out there, and a glass of wine in the evening is a must while you listen to the lively vibe of Lucca.
