The Garden Folly Guest House

Our architect said, “this is NOT a garage, it’s a Garden Folly!” Our Guest House has a bird’s eye view of the rose covered pecan tree and a vista of the marsh and the Wappoo Creek. When we rebuilt our 1930's garage we saved all the beaded siding and pine floor. My husband enjoyed incorporating many design elements and creative ideas. It was quickly becoming the Taj Garage. Our carriage house apartment is located on a peaceful marsh on beautiful Daniel Island next to walking/biking paths. It is also walking distance to parks, shops, and restaurants. Daniel Island is approximately 15 to 20 minutes from the airport, downtown Charleston, and local beaches. All AirBnB rentals in Charleston & Daniel Island must have a business license. The well-equipped kitchen and grill on the porch encourages intimate home cooking. We lived in this space before we moved into the main house, so we can attest to it being comfortable, and well maintained.

Take a short walk to the community dock on our street and take in some great views while you enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset. Lots of deer to see on your walk in the evenings too.
