The "Magnolia House" is a 1 bed small cottage in the quaint town of Mt Gilead in the Uwharrie Natl Forest region. While not waterfront, the property is centric to so much fun! Use as a base camp to boating, fishing, hiking/jeep/mountain bike trails & more! Perfect for a couple or small family, its small footprint is efficient w/a Queen bed, a twin loft overhead, plus a full sleep sofa in the LR. Pet (max 2) & trailer friendly circular drive. There are no cameras in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Fifteen minutes to Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery- Badin Lake, and Uwharrie recreational area. 8 miles to Dennis Vineyards. Asheboro Zoo is one hour. Each guest over one is an additional $15 per day per person—kids under 2 N/C. $10 per day per animal. PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. Airbnb cannot add the correct pet fee; we will request it after booking.

An update on this listing. The county is currently working on installing a new waterline on a neighboring road and storing their heavy equipment on the same road as this Airbnb so occasionally throughout the day, especially the morning and evening there are beeping noises from the workers setting up and Ending their day. No complaints so far, but I want everyone to be aware. It hasn’t scared the deer off.

Welcome to style and elegance. When you walk into the home you are greeted by open floor space with tone of natural light. This stylish home is perfect for family trips. Great Lake access and privacy for quiet enjoyment. The marina is across the street and also offers a restaurant for dinner time overlooking the lake. Come stay with us and have the best time.
