Long Cove Hideaway

Newly upgraded to 2018 RV! Escape the tourist madness of Bar Harbor at your own private tidal cove. Camp with the comforts of home, water, power and Wifi. Outdoor grill, awning and lobster cooker for the complete Maine experience. After a hard day of hiking relax by fire pit. The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.

Little Manahan Two is a SECOND-FLOOR, two-queen bedroom, one bath apartment with a front porch & private entrance on a quiet street. Designated workspace, five-minute walk to hospital, churches, shops, restaurants and YMCA, two-car off-street parking spaces with room to keep bicycles and EV charging. Key access is with a lockbox located next to the front door. Access to the Acadia National Park Loop Rd is nearby. I have a no pet policy. There is a 9% Maine sales tax added through Airbnb.

The house faces south towards the water and overlooks a gorgeous blueberry field that turns a majestic shade of deep red in the fall. On the edge of our family homestead overlooking meadow & forest, this tiny house offers a quiet, cozy refuge only 40 minutes from Acadia National Park. There's a twin daybed on the ground floor & a double futon in the loft. Full kitchen & tiny bathroom with shower too. A heat pump keeps the place toasty warm or nice and cool. The tiny house and meadow are very private on the edge of the property, and just for you. Our family's gazebo, fire pit, hammock, trail & garden are shared with guests.

Bar Harbor Suite Under The Eaves

Our 1847 farmhouse is centrally located on Mt.Desert Island. A private entrance leads to an upstairs, sunlit, suite with a queen bedroom, living room with futon, private bath, and kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker. The house and stable, which once served the livery needs of Mt. Desert, are located on one of the major island roads. Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and the 'Quiet Side' of MDI are all close by, but be prepared for summer traffic.

Lillebo

Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

Bungalow with Swimming Cove

The view from the covered porch of this 3-bedroom Bungalow, a bathing house, built in the early 1900s, is an ever exploding fusion of white and black birds taking wing over the island out front with swimming cove nearby. Grandfathered to sit right on the shoreline, the Bungalow is a variation of house with swimming pool, only it's the ocean, not a swimming pool. The view from this house with swimming cove is the reason why you should rent this house.
