Quiet area, with easy access to multiple parks.

Good place, affordable for the location. Was exactly as described. Would stay again if we go back. The no chores to check out too aside from dishes was fantastic .

The apartment was very nice with a great location right on the Main Street with a great view in the back as is seen in the photos. Laura communicated instructions which were for an easy self checkin. We enjoyed our time on the Schoodic Peninsula and the accommodations added to the experience.

This is a spacious and very nice unit, almost brand new, in a peaceful and quiet location just a short drive to several good restaurants in Southwest Harbor. Everything, both indoors and outdoors, was spotlessly clean, and all appliances in great working order. Managers (Mike and Ellen) were professional, efficient, courteous and pleasant. As another reviewer already mentioned, this is a great "base camp" from which to explore all of Mt. Desert island, at leisure without having to compete with crowds.

Space is as described and clean. Super close to the national park and downtown Bar Harbor Area. The parking is clearly marked and not hard to find!

I highly recommend this property, “Mariner’s Loft” on the historic Main Street of Belfast! Beautifully restored space from which to hike up the rail-trail, explore the waterfront, shops, restaurants, as well as a great food co-op around the corner, accessing great food to cook in the well laid out kitchen for an “at home” relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere with 2 comfortable sleeping quarters in the heart of town! The price was a bit of a splurge for us, but we found its location and aesthetic comforts well worth it! Note: no designated parking is provided; instead free, though time-limited, street parking in front of the building can be found, with a free 24 hour municipal lot a half block away. Our stay here made for a very delightful two night immersion into the enchanting heart and soul of beautiful Belfast!

If you are looking for a vacation that is quiet, relaxing and with stunning views then this is the place! Only 10 minutes from downtown bar harbor and quick easy access to Acadia. Honestly, my wife and I made less trips to Acadia because the views from the property were better! The hosts are fantastic and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.

We were happy with Margery & Kevin's place. Easy to access and no-fuss check-in, tons of parking, unfussy instructions both on the website and inside. Beds and sofa/chairs were extremely comfortable, everything clean and fresh, kitchen fully supplied, lots of windows and light. The only aspects I think that might be improved were: 1) clearer instructions about expectations for checkout; "leaving the place as you found it" is a good guide but whether beds should be stripped, dishes washed, etc - we had to reach out at last minute to clarify, so those details would be helpful 2) clearer instructions on the heating/cooling system - there was a note about needing to reset both units if switching from air to heat, but being unfamiliar with the electronics did not dare adjust anything, and main bedroom was hot enough that I opened the windows to sleep. Maybe just a short guide to operations, or at least pointing to where a manual lives if needed

Beth has a beautiful home and property, offering spectacular views of the bay and Mount Desert Island. The location was also easy 20 minute commute to Bar Harbor. The morning walks to Alley Island at low tide was the highlight of the trip! It will be a trip we will never forget.

The place was terrific. Beautiful location. We did most of our activities in Bar Harbor which was an easy 20’ish min drive away. If you don’t want to make the drive often, there are excellent hikes 5-10 min away that are part of Acadia NP. It was so great that a grocery store was just up the road, and it has everything you need. It had one of the best equipped and stocked kitchens with all the pans/dishes/spices and basic cooking items for cooking so you don’t have to buy all the little things. The beds and comforters were very comfortable. We arrived at night, which is very dark, so the instructions were very helpful. It was nice that there were a lot of little things that they had already thought of that you didn’t have to run and get. Would stay again if/when we come back to Maine.

This home was absolutely one of the most beautiful and well stocked AirBNBs I have ever had the pleasure of renting. Truly everything you need for the most perfect vacation in Mount Desert Island. And a wonderfully responsive and thoughtful host. 10/10 would book again.

We really enjoyed our time here with our two dogs. We came in their off season so locally most things were closed but Bar Harbor was a short drive and we were still able to enjoy the park even in the rainy weather. House was spotless and the hot tub was a nice surprise.

Rick and Karens place was an absolutely beautiful relaxing getaway. It was a perfect central point to all we had planned for the weekend. It was so peaceful, we had the chance to see a few very nice deer right out front as we watched the sunrise. I would highly recrecommend anyone to take advantage of this space. The house was spotless and provided anything you could need for a very relaxing getaway. I look foreward to returning.

Steve's place is walkable to all southwest Harbor, and if you're like me and love Peter Trouts it's extremely close. thanks Steve.

This was an amazing stay at an amazing property. Exactly as described in the listing. Clean, well stocked and spacious. Honestly the nicest kitchen, by far, that I've seen in a rental property. Easy check in and check out. Incredible location, with direct access to the park carriage roads through the back yard. Good location for accessing Bar Harbor, as well as other parts of the island. Jen was very communicative, and provided a lot of valuable information about the area. We've been coming to this area for years, staying in many different locations, but will definitely book this property again. You will not go wrong with this house.

Love this Condo. Superb location in Blue Hill Village, easily walkable to everything downtown. Modern and updated making it very comfortable. Well equipped with cleaning/cooking supplies so you can "live normally". The hosts are super responsive and helpful as well. Highly recommended.

This condo was the perfect home away from home for our family vacation to MDI! Everything was excellent from the view to the location to the amenities to the helpful host. We would definitely stay here again.

I spent a month in one of Derek’s properties and I already want to go back! Everything was lovely and I really appreciated finding such a nice and pet friendly place to stay.
