Cabin vacation rentals in Motala

We enjoyed our stay at Kathy’s converted barn. It is in a very convenient location, just off the main road down a small lane, at the end of which is a petrol station and supermarket. It is only a short stroll into the pretty centre where you can find historical sights of interest, pretty streets , independent shops and a variety of restaurants. Kathy has taken great care in ensuring the barn is comfortable and clean, ensuring her guests have all they will need for their stay. The bed is comfortable and she provides good quality linens and towels. The hot tub was immaculate and a real treat, as was the cava and chocolates that were part of our welcome package. Kathy’s attention to detail makes this accommodation stand apart from others. Thank you Kathy.

Great location, it was so peaceful. It's cozy and we immediately felt right at home. Just the sounds of birds and wind in the trees. We loved the hot tub! on our second day we saw a moose just 3 mins from the cabin. Nox was very responsive and proactive with the communication. Would definitely come back again!

Mysig stuga som har allt man behöver förutom TV men det framgick ju i annonsen.

Gasolflaskan till grillen var slut, men det löste sig genom att vi fick köra till en mack och köpa och värden betalade till mig, så det var ok. Antar att det var gästerna innan oss som gjort slut på gasolen utan att meddela värden.

Supermysigt ställe och gott om plats för hela tjejgänget!

Mycket trevlig vistelse! Boendet lämpade sig bra under en helg för 6 vuxna, välutrustat kök, trevligt vardagsrum, stor terrass med spabad och väldigt trevlig trädgård med utsikt över Vättern. Maja var en mycket bra värd, enkel och snabb kommunikation, bra tips om området och promenader. Vi kände oss väldigt välkomna. Omgivningen är väldigt naturnära och härlig. Besöker absolut gärna igen!

Wir haben uns bei Annika sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist wirklich fantastisch gewesen. Die Wohnung war sauber und gemütlich. Undenäs ist wirklich sehr ruhig und perfekt für Wanderer und Hundebesitzer. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Hans-Olov. Er werd duidelijk uitleg gegeven over de woning en toebehoren. Het is een super gezellig huisje in een prachtige omgeving. Het bed was comfortabel en we hebben genoten van de jaccuzzi. We zijn hier twee nachten geweest maar het hadden er wat ons betreft wel twee weken mogen zijn. Quiet, peaceful, end-of-the-road with a fantastic view, yet a few minutes drive to shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Visingso! And then a nicely-furnished, well-appointed, spacious home, with a responsive host, all at a reasonable price. It doesn't get any better than this place and host!

The peaceful lake views and morning birdsong made our stay truly unforgettable. We especially loved exploring the Tiveden national park — the trails were wild and beautiful. Christina was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. This place is a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and quiet moments. We’re grateful for the memories and already hoping to return!

Vi hade en kort men mysig vistelse där vi kunde spana på fåglar och det fina landskapet runt omkring. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta mysiga ställe!

We had the most wonderful time at Sarah’s beautiful house, the location was so peaceful. The house is very clean and has everything you need to relax and enjoy cooking and we had a BBQ outside as well. We enjoyed swimming at the lake by Valö Café and Sarah arranged for us to visit the farm next door to get some homemade jam, apple juice and some eggs from the chickens. I would highly recommend staying here, thanks Sarah!

Michael and his beautiful family are the best of the best for hosts in the Airbnb world. They are warm and welcoming, intelligent and interesting, there to help with something if you need it, but they also give you all the space you want. The cottage is incredibly special--a GEM. I wanted to shrink it down and pack it in my suitcase to take with me! It is charm embodied--full of thoughtful historical touches done by Michael and his father during the renovation. While modestly sized, the cottage was perfect for us and had all of the amenities we needed. Located in a lush and secluded corner of their garden, it is surrounded by flowers and green out every window, and your parking space is only a few steps away. If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely try and book here again. It's perfect on every level! Thank you, Michael!

Wir haben uns bei Annika, sehr wohl gefühlt, es war sehr sauber und toll eingerichtet, Annika hatte zudem einen frischen Blumenstrauß in Gästehaus stehen gehabt. Alles war sehr ansprechend. we hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad. Zeer rustige omgeving, en je loopt zo naar het meer toe waar je kan zwemmen en barbecuen. de ruimte is groot en van alles voorzien. ook de wandeling rondom het schiereiland is erg mooi.

Vi spenderade en natt i Annas mysiga stuga! Hade gärna varit kvar i lugnet och fågelkvittret💭 Sån harmonisk plats!

Vi nød nogen fantastiske dage i Saras smukke ødegård. Der var vildt smukt og der var meget at lave. Det var helt perfekt til os med badning og fiskeri i søen og sauna med smuk udsigt. Om aften kunne man hygge med snobrød og skumfiduser ved bålet. 10/10 ⭐️ her fra. Dog lidt lavt til loftet, hvis man er over 185 cm

Wir haben es hier geliebt! Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und wohnlich, Fabian super freundlich und konnte sogar deutsch, was wir hier nicht erwartet haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder herkommen, wenn wir in der Nähe sind!

Wát een prachtige locatie! Toen we aankwamen kreeg ik gewoon tranen in mijn ogen van hoe prachtig, rustig, sereen het er is (eerste keer Zweden). Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en is een heel fijn en licht huis. Ook vanuit binnen heb je een prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving. We hadden zelfs 2x bezoek van een ree. De ochtend opstarten aan het meer, genietend van het uitzicht is magisch. In de buurt mooie wandelingen te maken. Let wel op teken! Al met al: Ik raad deze accomodatie absoluut aan!

Ein bißchen war es wie Airbnb früher einmal war. Wir hatten einen wunderbarer Aufenthalt (4 Nächte) bei herzlichen Gastgebern. Wir wurden mit herzlicher Gastfreundschaft empfangen und das Haus war einfach wunderschön! Die Einrichtung ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, dass man sich sofort wohl und heimisch fühlt. Jedes Zimmer strahlt die gemütliche, skandinavische Atmosphäre aus, die wir in Schweden auch gern finden mögen. Besonders unser kleiner Enkel (2 Jahre) hatte viel Freude daran, alles zu erkunden. Die Umgebung war kinderfreundlich, und er konnte sich frei bewegen, ohne dass wir uns Sorgen machen mussten. Die Gastgeber waren stets zur Stelle, wenn wir Fragen hatten oder Hilfe brauchten, und dennoch haben sie uns unseren Freiraum gelassen. Vielen Dank für die interessanten Gespräche. Elisabeth er vennlig og lett å kommunisere med. Oppholdet var veldig avslappende. Stedet er perfekt når man ønsker å komme seg vekk fra alt stress og få noen rolige dager. Er ikke langt til butikk hvor man får tak i alt man trenger for oppholdet. Kommer gjerne tilbake ved en senere anledning.
