Cosy, friendly home. Kitchen use & breakfast!

Double back bedroom in a homely oasis close to Manchester's centre. The house is full of plants, maps & books, plus a woodburner, 2 cats... & 1 friendly human. It's in a diverse inner-city neighbourhood just 2 miles from the city centre & close to frequent buses into town (15mins) & to airport. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen for simple meals and a help-yourself breakfast is included. My cats have big, friendly personalities. If you're not a cat fan, this may not be the place for you!

On the top floor of my large Victorian house in Old Trafford, the private room has been stylishly designed with special touches for guests’ comfort and convenience. You'll find a large comfortable bed with crisp cotton sheets, en-suite bathroom with shower, your own kitchenette, a large desk, plenty of space for your things, three windows in the tree canopies and a window seat with lush views of the park.

A vibrant mural covers a brick wall, depicting bees and flowers in detail. Various bees are shown in different positions, surrounded by colorful blossoms. The artwork adds character to the space, merging nature and urban art in a harmonious display.

The room is newly refurbished and overlooks the back garden on a quiet leafy street in Old Trafford. The bed itself has a new 10 inch thick mattress ensuring the weary traveller has an excellent nights sleep ! There is a large kitchen and dining area, a day room on the first floor and a shared bathroom/toilet.

It was a great stay at Bali's place. She is a very friendly and accommodating host. She gave me tips on good restaurants and bars around. The room is clean and cosy, and the neighbours are quiet. Good access to public transport. I would recommend.

Chanje was well organised but relaxed and practical. I was expecting a place to sleep but was allowed to use the communal rooms in Chanje's artistic house. The location is superb for Oxford Street venues and the Oxford Street campuses of both universities. The ethos of the house was friendly and relaxed, enabling me to recover from hectic daytimes.

‘The Hideout’ -separate double annex near Chorlton

My sister and I visited for the weekend, and Kim was just lovely. she introduced us to her family, including Richard the Cat who loved the fuss, and showed us around. The house was clean, warm, welcoming and spacious and Kim made sure we felt comfortable sharing the space. She's approachable, considerate and friendly (: She also accommodated us by laying out an additional mattress on the floor with all the bedding so we'd both have space. Tea and coffee tray plus mini fridge was a great addition to the room. The neighbourhood is so sweet and peaceful, with kids actually playing on the road (felt very safe and secure) and lots of cute cats around. Nice dessert place round the corner for late night treats too, and shops within walking distance. Plenty of on street parking which was a must. All in all, we felt very comfortable here and would definitely stay again if visiting Manchester in the future. (:

The home was beautiful and clean, the flexible check in with simple instructions meant a lot because our plane landed quite late. Has a high cleaning fee but it really is clean. Would love to come back, definitely recommend this place!😄
