Karibu Cottage

Staying at Karibu Cottage and Safaris was such a peaceful and memorable experience—and John made it even better! He was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful from the moment I booked until check-out. The property is exactly as described (even better in person!), and the airport pick-up was such a thoughtful touch. I also loved spending time in the garden with the friendly rabbit and tortoise—such a unique addition! John organized a tour to Lake Chala where I was able to have the true Moshi experience by reconnecting with nature. John truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend this stay to anyone visiting Moshi.

Materuni Homes, price include breakfast

It's a nice house, with good views of Kilimanjaro when it's clear weather. There is a lot of green around and Mama Agnes, who is also living next to the house, is very kind. The bedrooms are comfortable with your own toilet, shower and sink. It's nice to have breakfast and diner with the local family. I would best describe it as a homestay feeling, but still having the privacy of your own room. You can book the coffeetour and a hike to Materuni waterfall very easily. Consolata is easy to reach, and you can ask her any question.
The entrance of the home is framed by elegant pillars, leading to a wooden door. Soft lighting highlights the steps and surrounding greenery, creating a welcoming ambiance. Large windows allow natural light into the space, with a cozy chair positioned on the porch.

Kanyi Homes

We really enjoyed our stay at Christina's house. We like the location, very quiet, spacious, clean and beautiful. There is also nice view of Mt. Kilimanjaro at the backyard. Daniel was helpful and was there for us anytime. Cleaning was done thoroughly We had some issue with power outage due to shortage of national grid, however I understand they have a plan to install power backup/solar system. Thank you Christina and team, we will not hesitate to come again at your house.
A spacious living area is highlighted by a curved sofa and a coffee table, inviting relaxation. A television is positioned on a low cabinet. Light filters through large windows adorned with green curtains, creating a bright and airy ambiance.

Kili Footprints

Jackson was a very friendly and super nice contact. He speaks perfect English, was always available immediately and gave great information about the area at all times, restaurants and we just runs in Moshi. From Materuni Waterfall, Kilimanjaro Trekking and Lake Chala. The property is a little off the beaten path. We were on the way by car and enjoyed the tranquility and seclusion. The unobstructed view of Kilimanjaro and sunset could not have been better. There is a local shop just around the corner where you get the most necessary and that at a local price. From beer to pasta, water, etc. The locals are all super friendly and helpful people, and we just felt safe and in good hands here. The space is super clean with a great modern kitchen and a giant chill couch. Even without air conditioning, the apartment is super ventilated and at night it is not too hot at 20 degrees anyway. Thanks to Jackson we will be back...
A sunny outdoor area showcases two rustic wooden sofas arranged around a small table. Behind them, a yellow house with large windows and a black roof is visible, surrounded by greenery and a clear blue sky.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Moshi! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They were incredibly friendly, always ready to help with a smile, and made our stay even more enjoyable. The home itself was clean, cozy and well-maintained, with all the essentials provided. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Moshi— I will definitely be back!

Cheerfully 7-bedrooms house with beautiful garden.

Emmanuel was a great host. His house was perfect for the four of us: everyone had their own room and private bathroom. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Breakfast was simple, just coffee and crepes, but ample. It’s a short walk to the center of Moshi, though on a busy road. Emmanuel arranged a great guide for a waterfall tour. All in all, a great value for our pre-trek days.
The guest room features two twin beds made from wooden pallets, each dressed with neutral-colored bedding and accompanied by throw pillows. A large framed photograph decorates the wall, surrounded by smaller framed images. The walls are painted a light yellow, enhancing the room's brightness.

I stayed with Petet for a while, he was a friendly and active host ready to organize safaris and outings at any time. The place was characterful and comfortable.
A shared room features two wooden beds with patterned cushions, offering comfortable bedding. A nightstand with a decorative lamp is positioned between the beds. Large windows with red curtains allow natural light to brighten the space, complemented by a lion-themed wall art.

Darlie is such a hospitable host - I had a brilliant time at her lovely place. The neighbourhood is really nice and leafy, and the room was perfect. Darlie cooked a delicious meal for myself and some other guests, and helped with everything we needed. It was a fantastic stay and I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Moshi!
