The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Staying at Sheri’s place was an absolute pleasure! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that she goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Sheri was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful, truly a top-notch host. You can tell she genuinely cares about the experience she provides. Places like this are rare to come by, and I’m so glad I found it. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

It was a great stay as always. We got married in Nubbintown in 2021 and like to make it back when we can and see all the updates of the venue. We also brought our toddler who loved running around the farm and seeing the horses. We also love how close they are to white oaks pastures…their food is always top notch. Overall, 10/10 and the perfect quiet get away that the fam needed!

Sarah and her husband were gracious host. With clear communication and thoughtful preparation for our arrival. We truly felt “at home” during this farm stay. The beds were comfortable. No odor from the well water. Strong AC. Clean and stocked bathroom. Washer and dryer. WiFi. We had everything we needed to truly feel comfortable and rested. Plenty of room to park with our camper. We enjoyed the farm animals. We even got to borrow a pet baby bunny for the night of our Easter stay. I know my daughter will always remember this place.

Wonderful property! So many animals to look at. Gorgeous views, nice pool, very clean, super cozy house. Lindsey was a lovely host, very responsive and gave good recommendations. Definitely will stay again. Such a relaxing stay, unlike anything I’ve ever done. Literally on a ranch. We watched a mama horse teach her baby how to run, amazing. I could go on and on, 10/10.
